Fairly pathetic selection of shops, eateries/restaurant selection better but are disproportionate occupiers. There is a cinema here which had the potential to make this into a great place to go out in the evening for eating and entertainment but unfortunately never seems to show any films past 9:30pm. They spent a lot of money and made a lot of promises about this new retail park but due to the poor shop selection, vacant premises and over dominance of eateries it just becomes an awkward island in the middle of Dover which isn't that easy to get to and no real reason to go there night or day unless you fancy a Nandos or need to go to Next/M&S. Parking is free for 30 minutes but then the army of parking attendants are eyeing up your car the minute before your time runs out (they are clearly paid some sort of amount based on catching people who overstayed and not to just manage the place because they look very hungry stalking the place). Love the Nandos though as closest one to Dover/Folkestone used to be Ashford which was a bit far for...
Read moreThe Cineworld is good. The Next is good too as it also has a coffee shop a Costa. The Trespass is good as is The Enterainer, and the large big box Shoe zone that does other brands. The M and S foodhall is also good. Parking is alright but you pay to park unless disabled and the spaces and paving is a bit awkward when parking.
Not enough places to eat near the cinema which would make this place more appealing. All there is is Nando's, Kaspa's, Burger King, and that's it.
The Hancock's opening in what was the Frankie and Benny's unit is not opening as they have gone bust.
Pity Bella Italia changed their mind about opening here as cinema is much better than Vue the more money and the drinks and snacks...
Read moreGreat location, near the main shops, not all units are full yet. But the ones that are there are brilliant. M& S food hall is excellent and the cafe, very spacious, all the units are great for wheelchairs, everything is on a level, no hills or slopes etc. The Iceland has a lot of choice and the Poundland. Also Shoezone, lots of choice as there is more space, also Superdrug, its nice to have all the shops all together. Next is coming soon, along with Burger King under Travel lodge and Mr Entertainer. Then you have Nandos, Costa and Cineworld of course. Makes it pleasant to do your shopping. Would like to see more restaurants like Frankie and Benny's and Bella Italia, after you have been...
