Southwold has a beautiful sandy beach, picture perfect beach huts and pier. You can take the dogs and during off peak season you can let them off the lead (Image of Marley and me comes to mind!) So remember your doggy bags!. The town is lovely with great places to eat and shop. There are some great vintage shops too. First reaction was that there was plenty of (paid) parking but disabled (blue badge) did not exempt. Drove on to find a space on the prom but sadly too far to walk back. Had a nice drive all round the town. Had an excellent lunch at the Crown, very friendly courteous staff (a little pricey but where isn’t) was very lucky with the parking here with a few spaces almost opposite. Pretty town but not much for you if you have...

After weekend visitors there is often disposable coffee cups and lids on beach too. Please if you're using local beach cafes bring your rubbish to the bins( lots of them about). Or better still bring your...
