Southwold has a beautiful sandy beach, picture perfect beach huts and pier. You can take the dogs and during off peak season you can let them off the lead (Image of Marley and me comes to mind!) So remember your doggy bags!. The town is lovely with great places to eat and shop. There are some great vintage shops too. If you walk along the beach, to the right, you'll reach the inlet where for £2 per person (2023) you can catch the little boat to the other side, and walk to the Bell Inn pub, a cosy old pub with good food and beers (dogs welcome).
