Blackpool Pleasure Beach

What can I say about the pleasure beach, well the cost to get in was absolutely disgusting. Having disabled guests within our party with thought that we will enquire regarding careers pass this in itself was an absolute nightmare. It was made out even if you have a disability you don't necessarily get a career in for free or a ride access pass (easy access pass). Given the fact we are all merlin pass holders with the ride access and career's pass this place made life difficult. And to top it all of they use nimbus the exact same company as merlin use! After a few times back and forth we were granted the access passes which definitely helped. This place is ridiculously expensive however it seemed it was the place to be! Upon arrival you have to go check in to gain your careers pass and access pass, then your directed to another queue this is to get in. Once your in, it's like a giant puzzle, you have to guess your way to any of the rides, this place is quite big and I think we only found 1 map board, wasn't given any maps at the beginning. 3 out 4 of our children are over 120m and thinking like Alton towers etc were convinced they would be able to get on the rides wrong so many of the rides were 1m 27 or even 1m32 such odd sizes (maybe you might be thinking stop comparing to merlin, or you should of researched better perhaps your right) to say we were a little disappointed was an understatement for our party of 8, 3 being registered disabled we had to pay £172 to get in, 1 of our guest couldn't even ride but as they no longer accept non riders still had to pay for her and then the 4 year old could only do the handle of rides in the nickelodeon section wasn't great The rides themselves were absolute bone shakers especially the wooden rides, now don't get me wrong the seats were padded and they do come with a warning ⚠️ but wowsers we all literally came off with bruisers and cuts where we hit each other of into the sides!

Aside from my own feeling son this place the park was bustling with people who clearly were happy to pay ridiculous amount of money to come in, maybe they haven't experienced merlin attractions and didn't have higher expectations. The park seemed clean. And is cashless in the shops we found out. The cost of parking was outrageous at £18 all day. Ok again it's a famous park I get that but jeez a hell of a lot of money on top of the already huge costs to get in.

Would I come here again, probably not I didn't like any of the rides come out battered and bruised and about £200 lighter.
