It's lovely to see these beautiful birds but this Aviary is very run down and not a particularly nice habitat for the birds to spend their life in. There is a local campaign to build a new Avairy in the lower gardens which is great but it's current at £96,000 with a target of £200,000. Read moreThe birds here are all beautiful rescue birds; the aviary is a safe and loving home for them. Half the aviary houses small birds like canaries and zebra finches, while the other half houses larger birds like ring-neck parakeets. The surrounding area currently has a café, benches, and lots of friendly squirrels. All donations go to feeding the birds and saving for a new aviary.
