We came to the urban gardens for food and drinks, we did come during rush hour so did expect for there not to be any availability and the possibility of a delay for food. Yet, they managed to fix us up a nice table outside and we were able to order food with no problems at all, which was surprising as I work in hospitality and would expect to be made aware for wait times. However, although our waitress was lovely, at no point when we ordered the food, were we made aware of the wait time. While we were waiting for the food, we did not get offered any more drinks, which you would expect especially during a long wait time for food. I understand the high frequency of customers can take you away from your other tables however, I saw a different waitress just hanging about not doing anything. If you’re not doing anything surely you would have the time to check other tables to make sure the customers are satisfied. When we received our food there were no check backs to see if we were okay or needed anything. After finishing, nobody had cleared our plates, offered a desert menu or offered if we would like to have the bill. At this point I actually got up and went to find someone to ask for the bill. Still, once we were paying, the table was still not cleared.
The food was adequate. I ordered the chicken burger, however, it was dry and didn’t come with any sauce. I thought it was quite overpriced especially if it came like that. However, the drinks were lush. We had the apple and blackberry daiquiri, definitely would recommend having.
The atmosphere was great, just such a shame we didn’t have the best service. Wouldn’t recommend coming here for food but would recommend coming here for...
Read moreShocking service, I don’t want to put reviews in general but this is the worst place I’ve ever been
Sat down on a dirty table and when told to change a new napkin or to do again the table because it was so sticky the waitress got really upset, I mean like why? We were polite, so then she continued with taking the drinks order which we told her if we can have another 2 minutes, but her emotions told her to make it 15 minutes instead cause we asked for a clean napkin and table, Popee if you can’t control how to control your anger towards the customer probably try to find something else, I’ve been a waiter as well but never done this
So we didn’t like the service in general and the place felt dirty and sticky, so I’ve asked Peter to remove the service charge which was already added 10% , so his round now by saying yes I will charge you electrical charge instead cause we plugged a laptop during our stay which actually didn’t charge, SO HE UNPLUGGED THE SOCKET cause we didn’t want to pay the full service charge. I was going to leave cash for the kitchen by the way, WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE PETER, disgusting service from you
Also Peter saying to the next table which wanted the service charge also removed you were laughing at them and said that it usually it’s 12.5% and not less, you should be ashamed of yourself
RUBBISH SERVICE PETER AND POPEE THE WORST ONES THERE TAKING THE PIECE RUINED OUR EVENING
WHOEVER IS THE OWNER NEEDS TO SERIOUSLY ADDRESS THE SITUATION THERE,...

Wasn't sold on initial appearance or menu, but a deeper look and a venture up the stairs to see sold the idea.
Warmly greated and situated on the outside veranda area (internal option available) with good views and space. Almost a holiday feel looking over the green and music softly playing. Definitely a beach garden vibe with rustic wooden decor and ganging plants. Sift yet effective.
Coffee wasn't to taste, was mild with no discerning notes, however came quickly and pleasant enough.
Food was great, haddock scotch eggs starter was fresh, hot and lovely flavours. Well presented and good portion size.
Mains of a burger with chips, coleslaw and salad. Medium rare fresh beef burger, gooey cheese, caramelised onions and gerkins, was a great combination 👌 genuinely a pleasant taste experience. The cheese was gooey and dripped everywhere without being oily, and the brioche bun held on to maintain structure.
A busy location with steady stream of people coming in, bookings and walking, even with dogs. The indoor facilities was colourful, vibrant and cleanly open spaced.
Toilets were quirky for the gents, clean and fresh, alot of time gone in to maintain them.
Overall a must visit if in Bournmeouth and a repeat to...
