Brass Haus — Restaurant in England

Steak was like leather boots tuff couldnt be bothered to complain, no wkd blue only smirnoff ice which tasted flat. And i used toilets and two guys come to check by a knock to which i jumped out of my skin and said yesssss i had only been in there 1 min very annoyin as im a woman and they waited outside i felt rushed and interupted dont like that atall not kool also the place was empty so i feel there wasnt a need to check the tolets and a woman should of done it but it was two guys and one with a clip board the woman at bar should of checked the toilets totally over the top also they stood outside after practically blocking my in a tight gap space way out not happy atall as a woman on my own left hungry felt rushed and wont ever go back now,

last few time i been here steak was bad and that was like 4 or 5 months ago and time before that steak was bad so i give up now and i will go to the george taps instead for my steak they havent failed me yet with a good steak and neither has the weather spoons .

good fries however not enough of them and most didnt have enough potatoe in them .

for two drinks alchol and one bottle of water a steak i couldnt eat with fries it cost me £25 good price you tell me i feel like i been conned myself and being pestered in the toilet in a empty bar...

Terrible experience. We booked in advance and didn't get told about the mass of missing items off the menu and got told by the manager Zack that it was our fault for not asking and it's not their fault they didn't realise they'd run out of the items to make some of our dishes. This would've been extremely useful information as 2 of us had dairy allergies. Our drinks order was messed up. When our schnitzels arrived, we were told that they don't come with broccoli when the menu states they do - complimentary chips came out after we'd finished our meals, the manager also said that they only realised that they ran out of broccoli when they were making our meals but didn't bother to tell us. We were the only table in the entire place having food at this time. Our barlady was lovely but the manager was very rude, disinterested and claiming he was unable to give us any complimentary discount due to him not being able authorise things like that dispute being a manager. I asked if I'd be able to get a partial refund and that I do not wish to get a voucher but he didn't care at all and just kept telling me to just make a complaint online.

Waited 1hr and 15minutes for food! Just visiting Bournemouth for holidays and happened to try this pub for lunch. We are a family of 5. It went well at first as the barperson was really nice when he took our food and drink orders. Then came the loooong wait. We thought food will be ready real quick as there were only about 4 tables that time. There were also 2 massive tables full of customers but they were already served. We even asked for our starters and mains to be sent the same time as we were really hungry. Eventhough we did order 2 sirloin steaks, one MR and the other MW, these won’t take an hour to cook am sure. An hour into the order, 2 staff came to our table, I think the woman was a supervisor or manager, informing us that they’ll send the starter first as the mains will take some more time. They were half apologetic and probably blamed the steak as it was cooked medium well. Didn’t even offer at least free drinks for the wait as we’ve nearly finished our drinks that time.
