What can you say - its Bmth beach. Best beach in the UK. And this particular part is very good. All the amenities right in one place but of corse that means only one thing. Very busy. If you want to come here then get down early. There is a car park which obviously cost but you can park for free on West overcliffe drive but then its a bit of a walk especially when you have to leave as the hill is quite steep. Once your down there is a Harvester and a new cafe/ bar opposite with all new toilet and changing facilities. Fogot to take pics and typically went down when the storms were coming in but still had loads of fun running from the rain.

Tired of looking for a space on the beach by the Pier (after fighting the traffic on the A31 and finding a car park space in Bournemouth centre?) Dudley Chine is just a 15 minute stroll on the prom away and has the same great sandy beach and refreshing sea without sooo many crowds. There’s an excellent Harvester with a sun terrace plus Chineside opposite which has great cakes and a veggie burger to die for... Even better take the train next time and you can have a couple of pints and glasses of Prosecco to accompany your meal:-))

Always was thinking why half of London escapes to this beach on a sunny day. A huge sandy beach, waters clean and calm, very good for families, a lot of cafes, clean public toilets. Definitely would think of it as the most accessible and first choice beach if live in London or near. Beach could be extremely crowded though, NHS sign telling to go home if it like this. In mid Sep during a heat wave (+25) it was still ok to swim, however water was chilly.

Love visiting this place. Always in well kept order. There is also a separate section of the beach for those with and without pets. There is a huge Harvester close by with plenty of seating in door and outdoor whilst across the way are a number of public toilets. There is also a lovely cafe which serves a range of food, drink and pastries and of course ice-creams!! Definitely a great part of the Bournemouth Beachfront to setup camp!!

The beach is simply wonderful, perfect for long walks and spending time outdoors. Visiting off-season was a bonus, as there weren't many people around, allowing us to enjoy the seaside tranquility without the crowds. It's an ideal spot for appreciating natural beauty and a peaceful atmosphere.

Great dog friendly beach. Car Park is a bit expensive, though.
