Booked a room for 3 for a night. Qualility of the room was ok but definitely large room with 4 single beds. The breakfast - pic attached, was set menu driven including juice and coffee from the coffee machine. If u want scrambled egg, they charge extra. The coffee machine area was absolutely disgusting. There was a sugar jar - very dirty, there were no spoons for the sugar, ppl were using the used spoons which has used tea bags in - grrr..... The room was quite warm in the night, so I called the reception and asked if there is a small fan they can provide, they don't provide any. The guy said u can open the widows if u want, but we couldn't because there is shisha bar next door, plays very loud music, so I thanked the guy and told him that i will open the window after midnight when the music shuts, and he laughed, really ???? Parking spot is only for 3, we couldn't find aonhad to park road side in the white parking bays which is free.

We went in for lunch, food was rubbish basically but this normally depends on chef and we didn't complain about it even though our plates were left full and returned back full and noone came back to ask if there was any problem with the food anyway this is not the case, we were having beers but one from our group wanted a redbull, so we ask one of the staff for a red bull and they didn't have any but they suggested to get it across the road which i did so, in a moment one of the staff a girl comes very furious and asks as why do we have a red bull on our table? We kindly said to here that we asked for it and you didn't have so we bought it across the road. She said to us that i am the boss here and whatever i say here is an order and you are not allowed to have it. Her attitude was unacceptable, it was only a red bull and not a bottle of alcohol. I do not recommend this pub, specifically to tourists.

I didn’t stay at the hotel. But I visited the pub almost daily while visiting Bournemouth for my first time all the way from Detroit, MI Aro is an absolute gentleman and a good manager. Nick is a good man (even though he’s a Phillys fan vs a Tigers fan lol) and Gracie was an absolute delight to talk to and good at her job. The entire staff made my trip more memorable. I highly recommend everyone make this their local while staying in Bournemouth. Fair prices, good food and drink, even better company Thanks again to the staff - James from Detroit (Sorry I missed karaoke lol)

What i awful hotel and rude owner! |Visited this hotel this week and soon as we went to check in was sadly disappointed. ||We arrived early and decided to have breakfast. Things were fine, there was only one staff member who seemed a bit miserable but was doing everything including serving drinks, serving food, checking in customers, wiping tables, taking payments. If that was me doing everything i probably would not be walking around with a smile on my face. Breakfast was okay, was very small portions and the tea bags seemed cheap and tasted vile.||Went for a walk as it was too early to check in and decided to come back about midday. Approached the same staff member who has been there that morning. Again was just them doing everything and no other staff to assist. They seemed a lot happier and welcomed us back. ||We asked if we could go and see the room before paying, due to being let down a lot in the past and wanted to make sure we would be happy there. Staff member was more than happy with this and showed us our room. They told us when we were ready and if we were happy with everything, if we could check in and pay. We all agreed the room was perfect with 3 beds, tidy and we were more than happy to come down in pay we were just going to unpack and come straight down as we were heading out anyway.||About 3 minutes went by and we had someone aggressively knocking on our door. We opened it to a man who seemed to be very angry at us. He said "you all need to come downstairs check in and pay!" we were all very taken back on how he approached us and spoke to us. ||As we went down we explained to the staff member that we were unaware us looking at the room would be such an issue after saying to us it was fine. We decided to pull aside the man that approached us before and try and understand why he was so aggressive towards us.!||He was very angry at us and seemed to be trying to intimidate us, we are 3 woman on a family trip. He said we offended him and was not happy with us looking at the room and we should pay before entering the room. He said he was the manager, and he had a vile attitude. He was getting in our faces raising his voice to his customers. ||We tried to explain that we just wanted to check the room before paying and was he didn't care in what we were saying. all he cared about was us paying, staring at us with this disgusting look awaiting for us to pay. We were so taken back with how he was treating us and feel bad for the staff that work there to have such a vile manager. i hope you read this as You should really take a look at yourself in the mirror and see what a disgusting human you are. ||After a situation like that we didn't think much worse could happen. However that evening i decided to run a bath, oh i wish i didnt. As i ran the bath i notice how disgusting the water was! it was brown and couldn't believe our eyes. I ran it 3 times hoping it would clear up, oh how i was wrong and i gave up. we all brushed our teeth with bottled water we had as there was no way we were putting dirty brown water in our mouths! Do not drink that water there is seriously something wrong it it but after the situation we at before we didn't bother mentioning the dirty water.||When we were checking out the poor staff member who had witnessed the whole situation with the manager speaking to us the way he did. The staff member apologised for the way he had acted. Not the manager apologising, his staff for his behaviour.||Overall we would not be coming again and extremely...

Disappointed here, naturally a pub eatery serves a good selection of beers wines and spirits. The food is good with reasonable portions. We had gammon, egg x2 chips and peas. Simple you may think, but no. The reason we ordered this is that my wife is highly allergic to onions and garlic. What happened was, it came to the table with limp salad covered in onions. When we complained we were told (you should have said) we explained that nowhere on the menu does it state this or any other meals come with a salad garnish, if it did we would have said something. We also stated that we are both 67 and have had this meal hundreds of times over the years and never have we had any type of garnish with it. They took the meals away after I clearly explained that everything needed to be freshly done again because it was too risky for my wife. This included my meal as well because if my lips get contaminated with onion I could cause her to have a severe reaction if I kissed her. We saw the server laughing as she took the food away. So we thought that's going to take a while now, but no three minutes passed and they were back with replated meals minus the garnish. I challenged them and they admitted it was the original food on new plates. After taking the time to explain the serious nature of the allergy they just didn't give a dam. I was furious and demanded a full refund telling them Are you happy to risk manslaughter because it could happen if they didn't take notice of customers and that their menu needs to state all meals come with garnish and that staff should be made aware of any allergies. There was nothing like this on the menus which is required by law now under food standard...
