Firstly where can I start, this lovely little seaside town has much to offer but let’s focus on my favourite things. I was truly amazed by the wide range of aromas in the air, one of these lovely scents was the urine, one could smell it as far as the nose could smell. It’s pungent decedent smell caressed every nook and cranny of this beautiful place. Secondly, the wonderful arcades. You would put in your own money just to win back one yes that’s right one sweet, what more could you want! And now for the highlight of my visit, this lovely kind and welcoming man. As we were walking down the beach path which may I add also was covered in diarrhoea god knows what beautiful creature produced it, we suddenly saw this glimmer of light, as we approached this heavenly beam we saw it was a bald man’s head shining bright in the autumn sun but the most spectacular sighting perused. This man was wearing the most beautiful thong one could ever lay eyes on, it’s vivid pink colour reflected on my retina. This thong left little to the imagination, everyone around was witnessing two lovely saggy cheeks. Next thing you know he turned around and was smiling at passers by. There’s only one way I can describe this sight….. jaw dropping. What a kind man with an amazing fashion sense. To conclude on this beautiful place I highly recommend it just for the divine sights and smells. Please do come and don’t forget to keep your eye’s peeled for a glistening head...

Set at Southend, jubilee beach area has changed since many years ago when last there. Cannot get late night donuts, sad because just love the hot sugery treats.

There have been some road layout changes also. Before two separate lanes for traffic, now combined and wider pathed areas beach side.

BEWARE 15 minute stopping time only in bays immediately in front of beach front shops/arcades.

There is a car park behind shops, which is a bit dark at night, but plenty parking spaces.

Plus points : huge ice cream palour on a corner beside the smallest pub. The pub has the most amazing windows.

Plus is there is a very large fish and chips restaurant, eat in or takeaway. My question is to all businesses, when there are customers around why then do businesses shut at 9pm??? Youre missing big selling opportunities. Not everyone wants, or is able to eat at 6pm or so.

Love the sea and fresh air. The wind was bracing and therapeutic, the low moon was shining perfectly across the water.... amazingly beautiful, with the peir lights in the...

It was okay. The tide was low, the water was muddy and the seafloor - slimy and full of very sharp oyster shells - my partner cut his foot on one. I highly recommend bringing some shoes you can wear inside the sea. There was a lot of dead fish and crabs in the sea - made us concerned about what is in that water especially because there was a pipe going into the sea there.

Very very busy and some questionable characters around but the police is patrolling a lot there. Food was nice and affordable - we ate at Seafood Shack which is nearby and also had an ice cream for dessert.

Not perfect but nice for a day trip from London and a...

Jubilee Beach, Southend-on-Sea, is a very well maintained public beach and one of the 3 in the area that form the main seafront. There are numerous shops and other outlets nearby, where you can get anything you need to complement a day out at the seaside. It is an easy walk to the nearby funfair and amusement parks, and also Southend Pier. Public transport buses are within easy reach and the main railway stations, Southend Central, Southend East and Southend Victoria are within a reasonable distance. Well worth a day trip or more regular than that if you're on holiday in the area.
