from places for the children to play to some were to walk the dogs queens park is a fantastic local park. neighbouring 2 schools and a nursery has a lot of children and young people after school hours and has a humungus park for them to play and explore in. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax or watch wildlife then you might want to go to the more peaceful areas like the pond and the rockery there is also a small sensory garden at the top of the park next to the tennis court bear in mind that on weekdays lots of school children will come to the rockery and Pond around 3 to 4 ish to catch frogs and tadpole and can sometimes be a bit noisy. If you come for sport you I'm in luck as Queen's Park has rentable tennis courts and large open green spaces to kick a ball around. Just one thing to keep in mind is there a lot of dodgy people who hang out in the less popular corners of the park however if you avoid those places you will be fine and community support officer's are always patrolling around despite this there have been few incidents including drug dealers so keep that in mind if you were visiting later in the day. To conclude Queen's Park is a lovely place to spend your free time or take the children for a day out as long as you stay away from the more dodgy people and try not to antagonise the geese as they have been known to bite you are guaranteed to have a lovely time

This has just been refurbished and if you have little children it's great, nothing for the kids 9 upwards. There's a cafe that sells everything from sandwiches, hotdogs, ice cream, toasties etc. There is usually only one person servicing so be prepared to queue. Watch out for the hoards of seagulls that are waiting to snatch your just purchased food, this has happened to myself several times. The toilets are the absolute worst. Unclean, smelly and rancid. Myself and children refuse to use them. There is a pond which is home to some beautiful and rather tame ducks, geese and swans. The pond itself is relatively clean but has got bits of rubbish here and there. There is also a side park which has a luminous green trickle of water through it that once upon a time you could see the tadpoles and frogs but not anymore. There are lots and lots of squirrels, a few are tame and will come and take the nuts from your hand which is an absolute delight. There is a supposedly separate dog area but when we visited there were a few dogs in the actual park area. By the side of the pond there is a large green playing area and also a few tennis courts by the clock tower. All in all the park equipment is okay for young children, the cafe be prepared to queue and some things are pricey and it is cash only. Avoid the toilets if at all possible. Look out for dogs loose in the children's park. Bring bird seed for the ducks and geese, I and monkey nuts for the squirrel and the swans love lettuce. Just be mindful that the large green area by the lake has had a few groups of people getting merry and can be quite boisterous and sometimes intimidating for children.

I love going to Queens park, it is a lovely place to go during all months of the year. In autumn, the colorful leaves are specially beautiful to admire. There are many dogs in the park playing, and there are dog-free zones as well. There's a children's park, a lovely pond and lots of green space. My favourite activity is to feed the squirrels and ducks around the park. The squirrels are quite friendly and will fetch peanuts from your hand, or you can throw them in their direction, it's a nice place to go for a refreshing walk. I will say that there are stone paths around the park if you don't want to step in the grass, but the park itself is a bit steep, going up and down, night be an issue if you have special mobility needs.

A great park, has a lot of animals like: geese, swans, ducks, squirrels and also your casual seagulls + pigeons. Beautiful pond with big fish (arent always visible). Good to just walk around and enjoy the view, - one star because most of the swings have been removed/not repaired yet. The toilets aren't as bad as you'd think, has a table for changing babies but I would recommend not using that just for safety measures, even if you come visit please make sure that you and the people around you are safe. We don't want anyone getting the covid 19.

Really gone down hill since the council have put up odd signs and blocked the road. Try driving a large van through those bollards outside of the restricted times, absolute nightmare. Unable to make deliveries within the restricted times, devaluing the properties at a guess. I'd certainly not value the house at the same when there are limits on when I can access my own house. Disappointing from the council but being agreen, expect nothing more than this really. Feel sorry for the people who live here now.

Lovely park in Brighton with child friendly play area. Includes sand pit, climbing ropes, slides and swings. Beyond the play area is a beautiful pond with swans and geese. The platform over the pond has been closed, however there are lots of other areas to view the park. Parking is difficult to find but situated very close to the park. There is a small cafe on site serving hot drinks cakes and ice cream at reasonable prices.
