Absolutely terrible. Went here for a sofa. Found one i really liked and affordable through FINANCE. Sales women was lovely, she told me I can have the sofa at just over £10 a month and told me the insurance in it was unlimited call outs on cleaning, pet damage. Covers Fire/burns and accidental damage. All for just £120. Thought bargain as I have cats, dogs and a child. Paid a deposit and waited a couple months for the sofa to arrive. 1 week before the sofa was due to arrive I get the phone call to arrange delivery but first I have to pay in FULL! So of course I explained I ordered this sofa on finance, and was told multiple times by different people on phone and in store that I have to pay in full or lose the sofa and the deposit I put down. I ended up paying the outstanding balance and in return missed paying my rent for a month. I put a complained through via email, phone, and on the online comment form on their website, and heard nothing back, not even an apology. After the sofa arrived which was very well made and I love it, delivery guys was great and took all the plastic away with them. I then received my insurance policy about 2weeks later and it is not unlimited call outs and only 1 claim for pet damage, which is not what I signed up for a paid for. So over the last 3-4 weeks I have yet again called, gone into the store, emailed, and on the scs comment website to get a refund on the mis sold insurance. And all I get is i will receive a phone call within the next 48hours to confirm all details. But of course no phone calls, no emails no nothing! Absolutely shocking. They lied to me, mis sold me, and have stolen my money! If your looking to buy from here I advice only to do so if you can afford to pay it...

If I could give -100 I would. Where to start, despite being within in my statuatroy rights to cancel within 7 days, SCS refused to let me do so. Not only was i not given any terms or conditions to read, I was misled by the very pushy sales people. I was not given or allwed to read any information , wasn't even told that the couch is non-refundable (even though I know my rights, they refused to listen to me) Correspondance since purchasing my sofa has been horrendous, they ignore emails and the llansamlet staff are verbally abusive on the phone. I was promised a delivery within 14 days yet when they emailed me all the terms and conditions (after i purchased) they pushed it to the 4th of October and the purchase was incorrect. I still have yet to receive by sofa, and in all honesty I don't hold out any hope of receiving it either. I would never ever EVER recommend them, do not be sucked into the their shpeel and make sure they give you the terms and conditions before you sign anything. I was asked to sign to show that I had paid £1500 and some change, but in actual fact it was a contract- very very very shady.

Update: despite telling me it would be 2 weeks (but putting 3 on the paperwork) it's now at the third week and we have not been updated with any delivery despite it being written as delivery on the 4th of october (which is this friday!!!) Not a single reply to emails, or confirmation...

Really, really disappointed with SCS. I ordered my sofa back in June with a delivery date of September 5th, it was then pushed back to September 26th. I got rid of my sofa ready and made do with a blow up chair. 26th came and went. I check the tracker on the 30th and it says the store will expect it on the December 12th! I have nerve damage at the base of my spine, I had to complain. I have been offered to have the delivery charge refunded and a temporary sofa to be sent, I don't have any other choice with the run up to Christmas. I don't expect to have my sofa delivered before Christmas, which isn't fair because I ordered in June.

Edit: 2 days after this review I was contacted by SCS withdrawing the offer as it wasn't their policy to provide a temporary sofa (I looked online, and they do). Then, when I went to the store to cancel my order, I was told there was a computer issue and that's why they canceled the offer. As a customer it is my right to provide an honest review. I recommend going to MFS in Llansamet. Furniture is made in the UK so the waiting time is a fraction compared to SCS and also the quality is substantially better for...
