I am overjoyed to share my delightful experience at World of Bears, a true treasure in the heart of Taunton. My latest visit has only deepened my affection for this special place, as I found the perfect new member to add to my Charlie Bear collection—a charming bear named "Rachel".

I ordered two Steiff bears recently and both were advertised as large. When they arrived they were different sizes, I appreciate this was my fault as I should have read the small print - although I do think this could be clearer online. I contacted via the advertised email address to explain that as they were gifts for brothers, I would like bears the same size. I was not overwhelmed by the customer service. I was told to make a new purchase and return the other at my own cost. No alternative offered, just a flat that’s the size of the bear you ordered. In further emails and at request I was advised of one my desired size but there was no reference to the point that both bears were marked at a lower price than I paid, that no effort had been taken to remove the prices. In truth I didn’t expect a different response but I think a lot can be done in the delivery. I did return the unwanted bear but no hurry was taken at all to process the return - which I had to chase. Shocked by the reaction from the lady who was working in the shop in Taunton today .I asked if they stocked a certain bear to be told a point blank no I said its on your Web site so she looked it up, they had 2 !!I said I tried to ring you yesterday and left two messages oh we haven't been answering the phone !! really this close to Christmas, I really couldn't believe how uninterested in us she was . I asked if they stocked another bear to be told they never made one called that ! yes they do. She asked if I was a collector to which I replied yes and she seemed a bit more interested in us .I tried to support my local bear shop but with such bad service I've taken my business elsewhere . shame but I tried . Customers service needs to be addressed in this store I've worked I retail 35 yrs this service...
