It's a decent University and the staff are really cool, with some top academics who have studied at the top universities. Most University across the country are pretty much the same, unless you go to a Russell group University. What you will find is that the lower tier Universities support there students more and the higher caliber of Universities don't as it's more independent learning. But I really believe it really comes down to you as a student, if you work hard, listen to your teachers you can achieve great results. Also for international students this is once of the most affordable Universities in the country.

I found the staff committed and friendly. COVID has contributed to difficulties for admin and team-working experiences which proved frustrating at times but they done their best and I’m very satisfied with the teaching experience. Had the privilege to meet and work with students from many nations. Nice group of people, students and lecturers.

I had a depressing experience with the university of Bedfordshire. I graduated from the University in 2017 and on the day of our graduation, our names was not on the graduating list and brochures, our parents had the brochures but couldn't find their children's name, it was like the school had forget or they where unaware that we were graduating, we sat in the hall disappointed. Nevertheless, we called the attention of our course rep and we were asked to write our names on plan paper which we did and gave to him. They made my graudation a sad one. We were treated in an unprofessional manner and very unsatisfied with the fees and services received at the end of our studies and no one apologised for this unacceptable omission. I will say that my student experience with university of Bedfordshire is extremely unsatisfactory and horrible, they school lack values for student especially international student. My second experience with the university was frustrating and horrifying. I applied for my sister to study in the same school because am presently living in luton everything was going on well from filling the admission form to the interviews. After the payment of school fees, a credibility interview was done which was successful and then she was asked to produce a bank statements and we did then our horrifying, and frustrating and nightmare began. After few day she was sent emails requesting another credibility interview, we replied that she had already had one which an email has to sent that the interview was successful. She sent the bank statement repeated with no reply from the international team. Since my sister was living overseas, I went to the school myself and they told me she will soon get her CAS. To cut the long story short, she never received any CAS and when I called and enquired why because we had paid the school fees early and sent the bank statement on time. They lied that they didn't received any email and that the admission will be deferred for next year but they are yet to send the email. I went again requesting they confirmation emails from deferred year but they never got back to me, even when I called I was placed on hold for hours with no one picking up the call. Then I wanted my money back so that I can pay for her to attend another with the same course intake for March. I was asked to send an email to the refunds team which I did but is more than a month I haven't go any reply or the money back. They university made my sister lose all opportunities for studies. There is a gross poor communication among tutors and student. The university is the worse on earth when it come with communication and they play with peoples futures and career and the customer service will scream at you when you call, treat you with disrespect and they are very professional and lies as well They only thing the University is interested is money. Student experience=0 Teaching and student actually learning=0 Value=0 Professionalism =0 Communication=0 Responding to emails or call=0 Complaints mode for student =0 And...

Extremely Disappointed and Frustrated International Student Experience at the University of Bedfordshire

I am utterly disappointed and frustrated with the University of Bedfordshire's handling of international students. My experience with this institution has been nothing short of a nightmare.

First off, I made the decision to invest my hard-earned money by paying the university fees in November 2022, well in advance of my expected intake. Additionally, I ensured that I had secured sufficient funds for my living expenses, believing that I was well-prepared for the journey ahead.

However, my hopes and anticipation were shattered when I received an email today, completely out of the blue, stating that my intake has been delayed from September to November 2023. This news has left me feeling deceived, frustrated, and uncertain about my future. How can a reputable institution recklessly toy with the plans and aspirations of its students?

The lack of proper communication and transparency exhibited by the University of Bedfordshire is both shocking and inexcusable. With international students making substantial financial and logistical commitments to study at this institution, the least they could do is provide accurate and timely information. Yet, it seems that they have no regard for the impact their irresponsibility has on students like myself.

Not only has this sudden change in intake disrupted my study plans, but it has also caused significant financial strain. Having already paid the exorbitant university fees, I now have to endure an extended period of uncertainty, incurring additional costs and adjusting my finances accordingly. This situation is beyond unfair and unacceptable.

Furthermore, the university's handling of this matter has shown a complete lack of empathy and concern for their students. Instead of taking immediate steps to rectify their mistake and finding a suitable solution, they have left me feeling disillusioned and disregarded.

I strongly urge any prospective international students to think twice before considering the University of Bedfordshire. If they treat their current students with such disregard and incompetence, it is only reasonable to expect similar treatment for future students.

To the University of Bedfordshire: it is high time that you rectify this situation and make amends for the distress and inconveniences you have caused. Proper communication, transparency, and accountability should be the bare minimum one expects from an educational institution of your stature.

In conclusion, my experience with the University of Bedfordshire has been nothing short of a nightmare. I am deeply disappointed in their lack of professionalism and disregard for the well-being of their international students. This serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering studying at this...

I am giving it two stars because I had to go there, and despite enjoying the lessons, the university couldn't give a single care about me (and probably was the same with other students). One assignment I am accused for an AI, the second assignment I am not accused of anything, and then the third? Boom! accused yet again... like, am I a cheater or not??? what is this inconsistency? Furthermore, I was asked to fill a form if I wanted to prove that I haven't used AI (and of course I signed it) but it took them two weeks... two weeks to respond... that was enough time for them to check which days they would be available for the meeting, enough time to also check the student calendar and see which dates we have exams and assignments, but do you know what they did? they used the one brain cell that they all share among themselves, to place my viva meeting the same day as my exam that starts from 09:00am - 11:00am, and guess at what time was the meeting... it was 10am! How are you boasting that you care for your students almost every month, yet you end up doing this?! That's completly embarrassing. Its such a shame honestly, because I like this university, yet its runned so poorly and so unorganised. What's even more frustrating is the fact that while I was writing another assignment a day before the submission day, as I couldn't have done it any sooner since I was more focused on a project from another unit, because the presentation for that project was literally a day before the submission day for the assignment that I am now talking about. Anyway, while I was writing my assignment it was something like midnight, and I had around just 10 hours to complete it and submit it, but my PC's power supply decided to die, and I couldn't do anything but miss the submission deadline, in the panic I emailed everyone I could through my phone about it, and also informed the mitigation team with requests for extension and pictures for proof of what happened... and since then, 1 more day and it will officially be a week since that incident, and yet they haven't responded to me at all, they said that the response could take a week since they're "busy" but they don't realise that I could fail my education if they don't help me, and I don't want that... My power supply had arrived already, and I can finally use my PC again, but I am starting to question if I would even move on to next year, the way it seems that I am all by myself in this current...
