The car park is very spacious and very close to the sightseeing locations such as the Viaduct, the ruins of the Castle and Mother Shipton’s Cave. It’s only £1.80 for all day at the weekend, and even cheaper during the week. The machine seems to accept only coins, and it won’t give you the change. The road which leads to the car park is really narrow, if there were oncoming cars we probably would’ve had to reverse ours or it could’ve got scratched by the side walls…

Big back log at the ticket machine notice board and ticket machine has wrong prices on. It’s actually £1:80 to park all day but that’s still good value but signs need changing

Great car park free to blue badge holders. Very narrow road to get there fills up quickly

I visit Knasborough a few times a year and can’t believe I only recently used this car park. £2.40 for 24hrs parking which is the best part. Like others have said it’s a bit narrow on the approach to it, but no issue for drivers with half a brain to make room for each other to pass. It can fill up quickly and be warned some clowns parked in such a way it forced people to bang their front bumpers on a grass incline in order to get out, so be mindful if parking to the right side as you enter. Other than that, it puts you just a very short walk into...

Great carpark for visiting Knaresborough. Very cheap too, £1.20 for over 4 hours parking. It felt very safe and it was very clean. We arrived at around 12:30pm and there were very few spaces left. No marked bays, which always causes people to leave too large a gap between cars so would probably be able to fit more cars in if everyone parked properly. If we return to Knaresborough we will...
