Stone Jetty — Attraction in Lancaster

We have been visiting the Jetty Cafe for years & always loved it… the vibe , the friendly service & THE CAKE!! We visited this week and were left disheartened at our service, sad faces and no cheery hello’s!

As we sat there with our “still delicious cake” we were pleased to soon have normal service resumed! The boss entered the building waving cups at his staff that they had failed to collect from outside, obviously they were missing him that much they were so glum leaning against the kitchen sides and playing on their phones.The sheer joy of The Boss before them sent them full of smiles as they busied themselves doing their chores like busy little Ants…it was hilarious to watch! The boss at the helm lifting the vibe and cheerfully welcoming the customers! Hooray The Jetty Cafe was once more… And still our favourite Cafe in Morecambe!!! A must to visit!...

Lovely stone jetty jutting out into Morecambe bay and flanked by beaches that are both rocky & sandy. The jetty is very popular with those who like to fish off the end. Nice wide surface, with plenty of seating and lots of decorations of various birds (it's a recurrent theme in the town). Near the end there's a small cafe selling basic meals at a good price. It's a nice easy walk with good views...

Lovely walk along the stone Jetty to the end , we’re you may see the fishermen fishing. Great views towards the Lakes and The Bay. There is also a Cafe on the Jetty , but when we have walked on the Jetty it’s been closed. You might even see the Lifeboat crews practicing , there great work...
