St Michael's Church — Attraction in Lichfield

Magnificent church and we had a spiritually moving experience at St. Michael's Church in August 2018. We had visited my husband's parents graves while on vacation to Lichfield and walked up to see the church for my husband to show me how pretty it was. We happened to meet the groundskeeper, Michael, and he gave us a personal tour and history of the church! So spectacular and such rich history. Wow , what a lovely place , plenty of history . Walked around for about hour and half . Unusual place with grave stones surrounded by wildlife and amongst the trees . Graves dating back to 1800's . We would have stayed longer but due to the weather we had to leave . Met a lovely local lady who told us all about the history of the church and graves and other places to visit in lichfield.
