We chanced an early walk in without booking mid week and we pretty much had the place to ourselves for a while, though it quickly began filling up as we were leaving. It's always quiet a popular place and honestly the food and service are wonderful. We opted for the two people set menu and the only reason we were able to finish it all was because we hadn't eaten anything all day! The food was hot and fresh, with a good selection of starters, and none of the excessive grease you can get in some takeaway places. The staff were attentive without being overbearing and had a good laugh and joke with us. They seem to know the regulars really well too and we can really see why people come back. I would very much recommend booking ahead of you want to dine in "standard" hours, especially if there's more than 2 of you. It's not the cheapest, but the quality of the food and service is worth it. There isn't a dedicated car park for the restaurant either, but there are two pay and display car parks right next to it which is quite reasonable and has reduced rates after 6pm from what I remember.

Had the BBQ ribs, egg fried rice, chips, duck in plumb sauce, spring chicken in black pepper sauce and curry sauce. I thought the food was really nice especially the chicken in black pepper sauce.1 waiter a shorter 1 complemented my off white hat and was really nice and welcoming. I was very disappointed In the disgusting way 2 off the waiters were acting. There was 1 guy with the earring and we asked for some containers and her was very rude with his response and his body language. Also afterwards I then had to ask another member of staff s tall thin guy in a blue shirt if it was ok to have 4 containers so I could take the rest home. He then proceeded to roll his eyes huff and puff then tutted like a little baby that didn’t get his way. For this reason I would like to say to Lee garden Shove your restaurant where the sun don’t shine. Lots of Harry. Ps: if you wasn’t so rude you would of had a very good customer because let’s just say I’m nit short of money. Never judge a book by its cover.

One of the few places that opens early in the day, so I really appreciate that. The staffs were friendly but they could definitely improve on their services on attention to customers and speediness. The price were pretty decent, although the portion of the food were just smaller than expected. Quality of the food was not bad; they are a little bit on the salty side. I enjoyed the chicken in lemon sauce and the chicken wings. For a restaurant in a small town, it’ll do.

We have just got in from a night out with our older children for a family members birthday. Our evening started here at Lee Garden. I'd heard it was amazing. I have to say that from the moment we walked in I felt a little judged wine glasses taken off table as they assumed and even said no wine for you. We were seated, and with in minutes asked what we were drinking. We asked for some more time and with in 30 seconds another waiter was asking the same question. Which then we felt okay just order the drinks. We were asked several times about food by several staff and not really given time to think. We have neuro-diverse children and sometimes decisions don't come easy. Our food was out within 10 minutes, which may seem amazing but made me feel that a lot was prepared. They then assumed we didn't want chopsticks and started to remove them, when in fact we did want to chopsticks. I found whilst we ate I couldn't relax as between 5 to 6 staff would come over and look at us eating, check our plates, then start taking things off the table. We felt rushed. It felt rude, even though the staff appeared to be friendly and jokey. I would have just liked more time to chat. We had sat, been severed and eaten in 45 mins. With 7 of us feeling like we couldn't pace ourselves and enjoy our food. The food was okay. It wouldn't say amazing. As I said it felt very prepared. They also took the prawn crackers away which we hadnt finished eating, when we would have liked time to graze and chat. The restaurant was getting busier by the end and we did order desert to be delivered 2 solid frozen cheesecakes, and one peach melba which was just ice cream and 4 pieces of tinned peaches. Very disappointed. Would we go back? No most probably not. It was okay, but...

Booked a table for 4 at the Lee garden Chinese restaurant in Lichfield , it was my partner 40th Birthday, The restaurant got us in on the day which was nice. so it was supposed to be something special, for a special occasion.

Got into the restaurant and the waitress came over and gave us some prawn crackers, then took our order for drinks so far so good.

The drinks came over, then the waiter took our food order. We ordered Two hot and sour soups, sweet and sour Cantonese chicken, Noodles, Sizzling lamb Cantonese style, special curry, Vegetable curry, egg fried rice x 2, chips and spring roles.

The food took over a hour to come out which wasn’t great. when it arrived the hot and sour soups were Luke warm and looked like they had been in and out of a microwave.

The lamb Cantonese style tasted like cheap meat it wasn’t lamb, my mate said he wasn’t sure what it was, It was dreadful. Both rice dishes were Luke warm and the noodles were cold. To cut a long story short apart from the chips which were Fantastic, the rest of the food was a microwave job..

Plus the special curry hardly had any meat in it!! If I could rate the food 0 ⭐️ I would, apart from the chips.

For £13 plus a main meal I find this an absolute disgrace!!

They took the rices, noodles and soups off the bill, which still came to nearly £80…

It was a rip off, we paid £80 for food heated up in a microwave..

Please avoid, I felt sick after this meal and I shall personally not ever return to this place.

Michael Wan's Mandarin in Blackpool Is a premier league Chinese, the food fabulous!

This establishment however is far from that ,it’s utter garbage..

The staff were nice People, It’s not their fault , but the food like I...

Went there for a night out. Arrived early in the evening, so the restaurant was quiet. As a party of 6, we were all over the age of 18, save for my daughter, who's 13. In spite of this, the wine glasses were immediately cleared from the table, which was a shame as we'd gone out to celebrate a promotion and a birthday and probably would have ordered.

We had no dedicated waiter and instead would be served by one person, only to be approached and asked again about two minutes later. Which ended up with us feeling rushed and, in the end, went with the safe option off the menu rather than experimenting.

The food was served extremely quickly, giving the impression that it had been pre-prepped rather than made to order, and I've seen one too many episodes of Ramsey kitchen nightmares to be entirely comfortable with that. The food was pleasant and well presented but left me extremely thirsty (I really could have done with my glass of vino)

The staff cleared plates as soon as we looked like we were finished, and I mean literally, as soon as we looked like we were done. A little space for conversation and digestion would have been appreciated. In the end, I forwent coffee or dessert as I felt the staff wanted rid of us.

One or two of the party did order cheesecake as desert. This came out frozen solid. All in all, I wouldn't say the meal was a total disaster, but overall, it was a bit anticlimactic, so I wouldn't go out my...
