Today when leaving i tried to pay contactless as usual , but the pay point wasn’t working even when we tried 2 different cards .
As it just happened that we didn’t not have any cash nor a physical card on us , as we left the house in a rush ,we decided to “call for help “ using the button at the pay point .
The man on the other end was extremely rude and dismissive when we said we don’t have a card with us just the phones , his response was “what would you do if at the shop you’re asked to pop your card in “ and “ next time bring your card with you so you can pay “ . Also we “ should find another pay point that should work on the other side of the car park “ all on a very snappy tone as if he was almost annoyed .
It was very infuriating to be spoken to this way , we just needed to know what to do as this pay issue has never happened before, his literal job is to help people
Hope that person drinks a coffee or takes a nap so no one gets treated the...
Read moreGreat car park centrally situated. A breath of fresh air with spaces that actually have gaps between them to enable everyone easy access in and out of the car. In most you inevitably end up with some idiot parking too close so you can't open your door wide enough to get children or elderley relatives in or out. Only complaint was not for the car park but the signage for money locals as actually finding it was a nightmare, Lincoln council needs to seriously look at its road signs when it comes to directions for visitors who dont know the area, I almost gave up visiting as the signage as you enter the city regarding car parking is absolute rubbish. I drive round for almost 20 minutes looking for a multi storey car park and was on the verge of giving up and going home when I stumbled across this one. Not very...

With convenience unfortunately comes with some cons - at the time of writing this review, it's £9 for 4/4.5+ hours which is pretty steep, but past 6/6:30pm in the evenings it's capped at £4.50.
Furthermore, there always seems to be an issue with at least one of the payment machines - going out of order / not taking debit cards / not being able to scan blue badge holders, it's not the end of the world but is worth mentioning.
They also don't do any form of discount for workers in the Cornhill Quarter / High Street, so it's very expensive to continue parking there daily if you work in the city, something I feel they need to look into and change.
Other than that, a very secure and...
