An absolutely lovely venue, the atmosphere is great and I would’ve loved to have been able to give the place a better star rating than 2, but the experience we had today put a real dampener on our day out to Lincoln.

My partner booked us a table here because of their previous 5* experience and given I’d never been, they thought it was an appropriate place to start our day out at Cosy Club Lincoln. In theory, this should’ve started the day off right, but instead we left the restaurant lack lustre and with less time to amble around Lincoln than we expected due to the ridiculously slow service - I understand today was a particularly busy day with a large turnover of tables, but we were there for over 2 hours in total and tables around us got their food before us.

We ordered two starters which were absolutely lovely, our first two drinks equally as lovely so we got off to the best possible start. Our waitress Victoria was immediately attentive to our arrival, however, it went downhill from here. We waited 35-40 minutes for our starters, then from finishing these, a further 45 minutes for our mains. In this time, we only had one more drink each - again, this seemingly because the service was incredibly slow after we’d had our first drinks and food order taken.

The majority of our food was great, however the quality of the chicken burger wasn’t - we were offered the meal to be remade, or, a free dessert, but given how long it took us to get the attention of one of the floor staff to inform them about the burger, I had finished my meal and my partner was put off their food completely. We were also cautious of the time given how long we’d already been there, so neither of these options were good to us. I had to ask if we could have one of the drinks taken off the bill, which the management did kindly do, however, why does a refund never feel like it’s an option? Or even discount off the whole bill? I felt like I would’ve had to ask incredibly hard to get a refund, which shouldn’t be the case. The server had to keep going back to the management to ask the options for us, which again, felt like we were being fobbed off slightly. We’d have happily paid for the fries that were eaten, but more than half of the chicken burger was left. We did have £8 for a cocktail knocked off, which I completely understand they didn’t have to do, and we appreciate them doing so, but we still had to pay £16+ for a burger that was barely touched. We’d have been less bothered, too, if there was more attention paid to diners once sat down.

It’s an incredibly disappointing first visit to Cosy Club, Lincoln for me and the slow service is a good enough for me to not want to have another visit, then the money spent on a product that was not enjoyed nor eaten even more of a reason to not return. I will thank you for the good parts of our...

I booked in a table for 7 friends and myself, as it was my friend's birthday and we wanted to plan a nice meal for her. Upon arrival, we said that we had a booking under my name. However, despite having booked twice as the first time my booking didn't register, I still didn't have a booking. Fortunately, after a short back and forth, the manager sent my friends and I to the bar for a round of drinks on the house. The bar staff was wonderful and professional, and the drinks were perfect. After only 15 minutes, our table had been sorted, despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon. We were seated promptly. Our waiter, Josh, came over soon after and introduced himself. He was amazingly friendly, personable, professional and efficient whilst still taking the time to interact and have a laugh with us. We couldn't have asked for a better waiter, so huge props to him for the entire duration of the experience. Around the time we ordered our food, we were also brought 2 bottles of prosecco, which was a wonderful surprise. The food took around 20/25 minutes to arrive, but for 8 orders it was very prompt. The food was outstanding. We had a range of food, from burgers and sandwiches to pasta and pancakes. Absolutely no complaints from anyone, clean plates all round. For the most important part, the bill; it all came to much less than I was expecting, considering we each had a main. There's an optional 10% service charge on top for parties of 8 or more, which we were all more than happy to pay due to the excellent service we'd received. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for a mid-level dining experience. Great atmosphere, service and...

Me and a friend went for a well deserved brunch today with our baby daughters (11 months and 7 months) we was really looking forward to it. When we arrived the host was lovely sorted a high chair and made sure we had space for the pushchairs. Water was poured for us which was a lovely touch. We ordered our coffees and a babychino they were lovely. I ordered the cosy eggs with bacon and my friend ordered pancakes with bacon and Bannana and i asked id i could have scrambled eggs with beans for my little one. The waitress said we do have a kids menu, she gave me that, scrambled egg and beans weren't on there so i chose cheesy beans on toast. There was about 45 min wait on food. When it arrived my friend had to ask for maple syrup (it is stated on the menu) and then she realised her pancakes and bacon were cold. I tucked into mine and my meal was not very warm and my poached eggs were rock hard and i dont think my muffin was toasted. My daughters chessy beans on toast was ok but i think a bit pricy at nearly £4.00 even her babychino was £1.25 (its just warm milk with a few small marshmallows in a espresso cup) . We didnt say anything at the time as we couldnt keep 2 baby's occupied for another 45 minutes. The staff were fantastic and the bar team even made us a cocktail that wasnt on the menu, thank you for that. Overall an ok experience, lovely staff and setting but just a shame about the food 😔 we did notice drinks were left out a while before being taken to tables so maybe its the same with food and thats why...

A Cosy Experience with Perfect Service and Delicious Food 🍽️✨ Cosy Club was by far the best restaurant we visited during our trip to Lincoln, earning the maximum number of stars from us. While strolling through the town center, we were drawn in by the beautiful building with its high ceilings, and it didn’t take long before we decided this would be our Saturday dining spot. Later, I researched vegan-friendly restaurants in Lincoln, and Cosy Club was listed as the top choice—no surprise there! The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with happy guests all around. But what really made our experience stand out was the staff. Our waiter made a minor mistake by seating us at the wrong table, but quickly corrected it and, as a gesture of goodwill, offered us free drinks. Later, my girlfriend’s dish arrived with the wrong type of pasta. The waiter was incredibly apologetic and, once again, went above and beyond by offering her meal for free. My daughter jokingly said, "If they keep this up, they’ll lose all their money and have to close down!" However, I strongly believe the opposite. I believe that as long as Cosy Club continues to deliver such excellent service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere, their customers will keep returning. We’ll definitely be back!

We've booked a table here and wrote one of us has Coeliac disease in the comments. On arrival we didn't have to wait long to be seated and we're given both a normal menu and a gluten free menu. The range of GF friendly dishes is really good. We decided on the Brratta and pear salad and garlic and paprika king prawns as starters, no photos of them but both really really good! For mains we had Spanish chicken and the Cosy smash burger both again were GF. For Coeliacs, burgers are probably something I've missed and this burger was absolutely everything you could want, juicy, messy, finger licking, just perfect! The Spanish chicken was perfectly spicy and flavourful. For dessert we chose the lemon posset and lemon & raspberry semifreddo both GF. The lemon posset was creamy and delightful, and the Semifreddo was bursting full of flavour. For drinks we had the frozen watermelon and strawberry smash and a berry bliss probiotic smoothie both GF. Our server, Silva was amazing, attentive, helpful and friendly and came back a few times to check we were okay. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and lovely food❤️ There is wheelchair access, and the spaces in between chairs is wheelchair wide enough. It's child friendly with high chairs.
