Review for ROYAL GALE Born to Wine Class
I wanted to leave this review here since there doesnât seem to be a way to leave feedback directly on the Royal.G Born to Wine website. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the experience, especially after being so excited to attend.
First off, the teacher was under the impression that the class was 2 hours long, when in reality it was only 1.5 hours (from 8:30 to 10:00 PM). Because of this confusion, she spent almost a full hour on stretching and warm-up exercises, leaving only about 25 minutes for the actual wining portion. It wasnât until one of the attendees double-checked with the front desk that we were told the studio would close at 10 PM. We all paid for a 90-minute class, which is fairâbut because the teacher wasnât properly informed, we barely got to focus on the core of the class.
Secondly, the space was extremely overcrowded. It was clear that no one checked in advance how many people the studio could comfortably hold. Many of us couldnât fully participate in the exercises due to lack of space. While the teacher did apologize repeatedly, this is something that shouldâve been sorted out well before the class started.
Another issue was the soundâsince the studio is located under a train line and the mic didnât work, it was hard to hear instructions, especially for those of us who donât have perfect English. Communication was a real struggle throughout, which made it hard to follow along or enjoy the experience.
Lastly, the studio itself wasnât clean. The floors were sticky, and there was hair everywhere. It really took away from the atmosphere and made the whole experience feel unprofessional.
Sadly, I regret booking this class. I didnât learn much, and the environment made it hard to enjoy what shouldâve been a fun and...
Read moreThe Base studio is great and stressful at the same time. I love the teachers, their style, I love that the app, the registration for a class and entering are so simple! But there are a few things which turned me away. First, a lot of classes marked as âAll levelsâ, so, as a beginner, I decided it suits me too. Unfortunately, I was really stressed by an advanced class. Second, there are about 7~ rooms with about 300 people in total, but a small 10-people changing room and 2 toilets which cause a big lines and stress of not having a space to change. As teachers are awesome, I could accept two things above. But the third thing made me doubt if I want to keep attending this studio. 3 times out of 4 the rooms are overloaded: I couldnât see what teacher is doing at all and I didnât have space make some important movements (someone even stepped on my foot). I was so stressed by the fact that I canât even see the movements, that I had to leave earlier. I love dancing! So I am frustrated by the fact that classes are associated with the constant...
Read moreThe way receptionists deal with issues is literally horrible!!!!!! One day their card machine didnât work, so I tried to pay through 2 apps (an old one and a new one) but transactions did not go through as well. I didnât have any cash with me, so they proposed to provide all my bank details including CVV, of course, it wasnât acceptable for me. I suggested some other ways to solve it but 4 ladies at the reception ended up shrugging their shoulders and saying: âSorry, itâs annoying, we know but there is nothing we can doâ.đ±đ±đ±đ± I, as a customer, was not able to pay, because none of their systems worked, so they could easily let me get the class for free! I asked them if I was supposed just to turn around and go back home, but the only thing they did was saying THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO!!! I spent an hour to get to the studio, 30 mins on trying to figure it out, and then an hour on my way back home - 2 hours and a half of my life were wasted JUST BECAUSE THEIR STUFF HAD NO IDEA HOW TO DEAL EVEN WITH SUCH...
