From the moment I stepped into Mezemiso, I knew I was about to experience something extraordinary. The atmosphere radiates sophistication and warmth in equal measure — stunning panoramic views, beautifully designed interiors, and a serene yet vibrant energy that instantly sets the tone for a memorable evening.
But what truly elevates Mezemiso from “great” to “unforgettable” is the exceptional team who bring it all to life. Every single detail of my visit — from the first greeting to the final goodbye — was handled with such care, professionalism, and genuine hospitality that I left feeling not just satisfied, but valued.
A special mention must go to the incredible staff who turned this dinner into a remarkable experience: • Ramona – Warm, attentive, and effortlessly charming, she set the tone for the evening with her welcoming smile and impeccable service. She has that rare gift of making you feel like the most important guest in the room, anticipating needs before you even think of them. • Mohamad – A true professional with a deep knowledge of the menu and pairings. His thoughtful recommendations transformed the meal into a curated journey, each dish complemented perfectly by his insight. It’s clear he takes immense pride in ensuring guests have the best possible experience. • Ahmed – Friendly, efficient, and detail-oriented, Ahmed’s service was seamless from start to finish. He was attentive without ever being intrusive, and his genuine enthusiasm for the restaurant’s offerings added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. • Ziad – Personable, knowledgeable, and incredibly dedicated, Ziad went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His warm conversation and careful attention to every detail made me feel like I was dining among friends rather than simply visiting a restaurant.
The food itself is nothing short of spectacular — a masterful blend of flavors that celebrate both tradition and innovation. Each dish was plated like a work of art and delivered a depth of taste that left me wanting to savor every last bite. From the freshest ingredients to the flawless execution, the kitchen’s skill and passion shone through in every course.
In a world where dining experiences can sometimes feel rushed or impersonal, Mezemiso stands out as a shining example of how exceptional service and outstanding cuisine can come together to create something magical. It’s more than just a place to eat — it’s a place to celebrate life, friendship, and the joy of great food.
To Ramona, Mohamad, Ahmed, and Ziad — thank you for making my evening so special. Your professionalism, warmth, and genuine care turned a wonderful dinner into a cherished memory. I’ll be recommending Mezemiso to everyone I know, and I can’t wait to return.

Perched atop the Hyatt Regency London Albert Embankment, Mezemiso Rooftop Restaurant offers more than just exquisite cuisine—it’s a feast for all the senses. With panoramic views of the River Thames and the iconic Houses of Parliament, a visit here is an escape into luxury. Add a lively ambience with a belly dancer and a DJ spinning infectious beats, and you have the perfect recipe for a memorable evening.
Starters: A Taste of the Levant
We began with three enticing starters. The Hummus Shawarma was a silky smooth delight, topped with tender lamb shawarma, and accompanied by gherkin, onion, and parsley—a true Middle Eastern classic elevated. The Spicy Lebanese Sausages were pan-fried to perfection, delivering a satisfying kick of heat. The Chicken Wings, marinated and grilled, paired beautifully with the harissa yoghurt, striking a balance of smoky, spicy, and creamy flavours.
Mains: Flavours That Transport You
The Mixed Grill stole the show with its perfectly cooked skewers of lamb kofta, marinated chicken shish, and tender lamb cubes. Grilled chilli peppers and tomatoes added a smoky depth, rounding out this irresistible platter.
The star of the night, however, was the Chicken Kabsa. This must-try dish featured marinated chicken embedded in spiced rice, topped with onions, crushed almonds, mixed peppers, and parsley. A side of chilli tomato sauce brought just the right amount of tang and heat. Every bite was an explosion of flavours, and it’s easy to see why this dish is a crowd favourite.
To complement the meal, Hamdy, our gracious host, crafted refreshing and delicious mocktails that added a refreshing touch to our night.
Desserts: A Sweet Finale
Dessert was a showcase of Middle Eastern indulgence. The Mezemiso Baklava paired flaky, nutty sweetness with the tropical coolness of mango ice cream, creating a delightful fusion of textures and flavours. The Knafaa, with its sweet cheese filling, golden filo pastry, and drizzle of sugar blossom syrup, garnished with crushed pistachios, was a rich and satisfying end to our meal.
Why Mezemiso?
Whether you’re planning a romantic evening or a lively night out with friends, Mezemiso delivers on all fronts. The stunning views, exceptional service by Hamdy and his team, and vibrant atmosphere make it a destination worth revisiting.

Read moreThis restaurant is a mixture of a great night out and an absolute shambles...I will start positive, unfolding quietly before getting it all off my chest!
We arrived at 6pm, with a view to have a drink before moving on but plates of finely presented food kept coming out so we stayed to eat.
Magical sunset - served with or without Alcohol, I chose a mock tail. It was lovely. The barman was good fun, shaking and whipping up a plethora of drinks and cocktails.
Inside was super hot so we asked to go on the balcony to catch some air. This was instantly an issue, as we were informed the terrace is for shisha smokers only, so we moved back inside.
We ordered calamari and shrimp tampora to start, followed by lamb chops and octopus on a bed of pumpkin puree. I noted whilst at the bar two other people had ordered octopus but didn't seem to finish it. I put it down to being filling.
The waiter asked if we wanted our starters first which we said yes. Next thing I knew, all the food arrived one plate after the other so was left sitting whilst we ate our starter.
Calamari and tempora was tasty.
The lamb chops was flavoursome, and succulent. The chips are plentiful and fluffy.
However, my octopus arrived, cold, like rubber and lord knows if they forgot seasoning because it tasted like nothing and I mean nothing in my mouth! I returned the plate, requesting to be returned with lemon, salt and a crack of pepper and for goodness sake add a little parsley or something! £33 for a bland plate of food. I also ordered creamy spinach. Again, cold. I requested everything to be returned and heated.
A around 8.30pm, the lights start to dim. A waitress goes around and places shots on all the tables so you think you are getting a complementary drink. When the bill arrives you will see £18 x how ever many of you are on the table for Petron. When you question it, you are met with sarcasm.
The belly dancer arrives, she is fabulous. Not to pushy but creates an amazing atmosphere of fun and entertainment getting people up to dance. The view is wonderful, added to the fact it was a pleasant evening. Overall, I think this restaurant is good for meat. Granted it is above a city hotel, they have rent to pay and it is popular with hotel guests, parties and tourists seeking a nice view but be advised nothing is complementary. We ordered a Peroni beer at 8.pm, it arrived at 10.00pm. We were then charged for two beers. Be sure to check your bill before putting your card down.
Would I go again. For a drink, the meat and the...
