Have to wait and use the QR code que system to wait at outside the lounge as it said over capacity. I visited chase aspire lounge at Hong Kong chep lap kok airports 2 weeks ago, compare with the chase aspire lounge this club aspire lounge even for one star is generous over rated. Due to Easter holiday airport security check staff strike, I have to pop in to airport 5 hours before the flight check in time. Food wise as you can see on the photos only one chicken meat with the bean curry. Instead of aroma and fluffy croissant what serve here are English stone hard scone and cold bricks bread (which taste like what supermarket reduce to clear bargain corner end of shelve life bread), both pan cake makers wasn’t working. Yes two of them laying bare and not working, check with the staff they said it was finished. It was 3:40pm uk time and it had been left cold and not serving anything on the self service pan cake (yes self services machine and no working due to no ingredients being fed to the pan cake maker). Save labours cost by using visitors and guest labours and the cost cutting down to the material (flour, egg and milk, basic pancake ingredients that won’t cost an earth?) Compare with the cook to order via weblink hot food at HK chase aspire lounge (barbecue pork rice, won ton prawn dumplings noodle soup. Egg tart Hong Kong style, hot and sour soup and cheese ham etc serve in Hong Kong chase aspire lounge ) this is very disappointing QR code on the table also not working, error 404 web not found and ask to contact staff. If you see the iPad screen I try to download Disney plus episode and the circles loading halt and nothing can be download over the WiFi. Enquiries with the services desk , staff said WiFi it’s working and claim their staff iPad using the same ssid and not club aspire WiFi for staff. Really ? The chase aspire lounge at HK airport you can scan QR code to read magazine and newspaper over their html link, this lounge has nothing even WiFi is not working fine. Disconnected occasionally and can’t download anything. No toilet facility inside the lounge you need to go out of lounge and pop in later. Access was narrow and the sitting area is hard to go through if you have food on your hand need to wait passengers walk pass prior going through. I seen a wheelchairs user have difficulty passing through this narrow pedestrian alley. Space is very tight and not comfortable to sit or rest at all. Hsbc UK premier customer can enter this lounge for £20 with LoungeKey access charge, and guest over 2 years old is £20 per person. All you have is narrow and crowded spaces and refugees camps food from UN and poor WiFi connection Overall very disappointed, I would rather eat and spend time on other’s eatery then wasting time and money to use this lounge I won’t use this lounge at the future even it’s free. If you are just happens to read this while on the dojo queue app, feel free to pop down to the...

Aspire Lounge Review – A Complete Waste of Money

I paid for the Aspire Lounge expecting comfort, but it turned out to be worse than sitting in the free public area. Here’s why:

Overcrowded & Poorly Managed

• The paid lounge was packed and stressful, while the free waiting area was nearly empty and far more comfortable. • A customer was refused a seat because he was alone, and the staff insisted the table be kept for a group (not reserved - just any group!). • They did not offer to find him another table, as every other table was full. • He was forced to eat while standing, holding his plate in his hands—completely unacceptable for a so-called premium lounge. • Meanwhile, hundreds of free seats were available outside the lounge, making the public area a far better option.

Incompetent Staffing (Owners’ Fault, Not Staff’s)

• When you need staff, they are nowhere to be found. • When you don’t need staff, they are constantly interrupting you or clearing your food without asking (not their fault- they look stressed by the owners lack of pay). • Staff are underpaid, overworked, and struggling—this is not their fault but a failure of the owners to hire enough people and train them in a positive way. • There was no clear guidance on where to sit, making everything more stressful, yet they tell you off if you sit in the wrong place.

Some of the lounge has no natural light at all. Only artificial light!

Poor Food & Allergy Issues

• They ask about allergies but don’t actually cater to them, so I couldn’t eat anything. • The food was low-quality, and full of vegetable oils, which causes illness, rather than natural fats like butter, which is healthier. • I would have had a much better meal in the free public area. natural light and view is far better in the free area outside the lounge. The lounge has high walls blocking the view while you’re sitting down (in the majority of seats).

Broken Facilities & Inconvenience

• The coffee machine was not working (error on screen), and there were no staff available to report it to. • I had to leave the coffee machine and come back later, which is ridiculous for a supposedly premium lounge.

A Money-Making Scam

• The owners cram in as many people as possible to maximize profit, while both customers and staff suffer. • It’s a money-making situation, not a relaxing lounge. • The only people benefiting are the owners, who are likely sitting on a beach, sipping champagne, while their underpaid staff deal with complaints.

Verdict: Don’t Waste Your Money

• The free waiting area was more spacious, less stressful, had better energy, and a nicer view. • Next time, I’ll skip the lounge entirely—it’s an overpriced,...

My family and I tried to use the lounge on 12/28/24, got in after waiting for more than an hour and from the start were treated so poorly by the manager(Tatus or Titus) and the elderly hostess that we decided to leave before we even started to get food. They clearly prioritize paying/booked customer and not priority pass guests (although the sign says "priority pass members welcome) We were asked to join the waitlist nd we did so, got an email that we had space but even then they kept saying we are full and we had to wait. Several times we had to come up and ask to if we could go in already but they kept saying it is full even if they were letting groups more than ours in just because they paid. We even witnesses several people who did not seem to have a boking but were willing to pay to get in escorted so cordially into the lounge. Maybe because I insisted that I received an email saying there was space for us, she obliged and said they were full and we had to be separated. I said fine so she let us in directed us to individual spots for us to sit in, really far from each other which was fine at first. When this lovely couple witnessed how the hostess was treating us, she offered their table because they were about to leave. I moved to that table and called my husband to join me. When the hostess saw that we moved to a different table together, she made us get up and said I told you where to sit and I told you that you will not be sitting together. I replied that it was okay when there was no other choice but a table opened why could we not sit together. She said that other guests would be using the table. It was at that point that I called my daughters decided that were leaving because of the treatment we were receiving at that lounge. I spoke to the manager and he was equally rude and did nothing to de-escalate the situation. When I asked for his name and told him that I would post a review, he did not seem bothered at all and just replied okay. We felt were discriminated against and treated horribly maybe because we were non paying Asians and not white? What's also peculiar is how he asked to scan our passes when we were about to leave to void our stay. We have never been so humiliated , embarrassed and so looked down upon until that moment. Those two people need an intense lesson on how to treat guests in a more...

The system design seems to prioritize profit over customer experience. When considering the value, several issues stand out: the poor quality of food and coffee, limited choices for complimentary items, and the need to pay for most other drinks. The overall range of options provided for the entrance fee seems restricted. One particularly frustrating aspect of my experience was the pricing policy. I initially couldn't purchase the more affordable £30 option and ended up choosing the £70 option, which unfortunately didn't provide a significantly better experience. The reason for this was that my flight departure time didn't fall within the 3-hour window, even though my boarding time did. I was informed that this was company policy, but it struck me as illogical to base access on plane departure rather than boarding time, especially considering that guests are required to leave the lounge well before the actual boarding time. This policy appeared excessively strict and seemed to reflect a draconian approach by Aspire's leadership in establishing these rules. Furthermore, encountering unfriendly and stressed staff can significantly mar the Aspire experience. It appears that the staff might be overworked due to managerial decisions related to the intricacies of this industry. I had an unpleasant experience when I tried to switch from an uncomfortable chair to an empty table sofa, which had a reserved sign on it for nearly three hours. It would be helpful to know how much extra money is required to sit at such a table. This raises questions about whether the leaders of Aspire are more focused on extracting money from customers rather than providing a comfortable experience. Considering above you might be better off choosing the classic restaurant near by.
