Docklands Fish Bar — Attraction in London

This place is amazing. I inadvertently butt in line the young man immediately asked 'sorry, who is next'. I genuinely appreciated that. Shows me he values custom. I waited and I ordered £104 worth of food. My food was cooked right in front of my eyes and only prepackaged items were the salad and sauces.

However regardless of the amount of money I spent I was treated the same as the person before me who bought a portion of fish and chips or the next three people who were fiddling through their pockets for enough money to buy a portion of chips to soak up their alcohol.

The food was amazing. My family left nothing.

I dont know if this place does curry for chips but they should start doing so.

If you are getting there by car get there after 530pm as the residents bays and single yellows are ok after this time. There is a shop next door if you need to buy a drink to wash the food down.

Be prepared for a long wait during peak hours as there is a events venue and bar nearby. Also with local transport links where people get home between rush hour many get off and decide to get a portion of chips on way home.

Their best dish for me..... ah man...... it's the plaice and chips (more the chips for me)

But like I always say. Go there yourself and find...

Would give it no stars if it was possible, TERRIBLE food and TERRIBLE customer service.

If you want your food to be cooked in old oil then please go there and eat their food or if you want food positing the next day.

They give you old food claiming it to be new and fresh. Their chips tasted like it was just picked from the ground and cut into pieces - was uncooked and solid.

Their doner is terrible & tend to give customers old doner. Very stale and disgusting.

And their fish isn’t true to size, I’m not sure if the owner struggles to tell sizes lol but seems like it’s an issue at this place.

Spent £50 and I called them up to try and come back and return the food Atleast so I can give them a chance to make it fresh for me again or possibily give me a refund as I spent more than £50 here but the owner simply told us to go away as he will do nothing about it.

It’s businesses like these that give a bad name to the Turkish people.

The company has been reported to the food standards agency as I felt heavily sick even after having a piece of the doner.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, there are better...
