The understated gateway to the heartlands of Hackney and the immediate headlands of Finsbury Park. Charles Holden designed and opened in 1932. A single story exterior references the similar but grander profile of the Cockfosters terminus; more the pie&gravy here than borscht&bourekas Attractive Art Deco ceiling in former ticketing hall is noteworthy and some scattered original items. Rarely busy here other than "rush-hour". Staff engarde and polite.

A normal underground station which is severed by the Piccadilly line. There is a number of entrances to this station which then takes you to the main ticket hall area. There is no disabled access from street level to the ticket hall area and also to the platforms only stairs and escalators.

Easy links to Piccadilly line and frequent buses literally 10 meters away. Great corner shops and a stone's throw from Finsbury Park. It's generally a quiet station away from rush hour.

This is a very Classical Station, with Multiple Entrances and it is very clean. Unfortunately there are no lifts at This Station, and no Wheelchair Access. You will have to use the Escalators, or get the Bus 29, 253, 254 or 259 Which is about 4 mins To Finsbury Park and use the Lifts there. It is my Local Underground Station. This Station is Served by the Piccadilly line and has 2 Platforms from Cockfosters in the North To Heathrow Airport in the south West and Uxbridge in the North West. Overall, Nice Station👍

Local Buses: 29, 141, 253, 254, 259, 279, 341, N91 (only in service...

The only station on the Cockfosters extention on the Piccadilly line without a Grade II listed status (Don't come here to admire Holden's design, although, the roof of the upper concource is quite pretty). Shame the Victoria line doesn't stop here; it goes right beneath the station. If you are a tube challenger, and you want to double back, use the inter platform corridor on the South end of both platforms, as it is shorter than cutting through near the escalators (Ignore this sentence if you don't know what I'm...
