PHILLIPS — Attraction in London

Wonderful space with high ceilings, large glass windows great for large installations. Visible from the street as you walk, ride, drive or bus by.

Went to see Damien Hirsts Civilisation bursting with colour. Have the artists (banksy) conspired with each other to bring a little joy this summer?

Hirsts colourful buildings and apartment blocks a sharp contrast to what is happening to parts of the world. I wonder the reason for the coloured dots throughout the paintings. Matrix?

Nice to see the variety of art displayed on the Lower ground floor. Will need to revisit soon.

We visited during an exhibition of photographs. An amazing selection of some very cool and interesting work. Came back for the auction which was handled beautifully with a friendly easy style from the auctioneer and an impressive competitive inclusion of in-room, phone bank and online bidding taking place. As expected some hefty price tags come fall...

Felt the need to write a review. Chris in Phillips Perpetual is fantastic at what he does, has great in depth knowledge of watches and really makes the watch buying experience a special one.
