Very good value for the location, me and my girlfriend are both from London but due to covid we haven't really had a chance to go away so decided to have a weekend in the city. The only couple things that we actually had issues with was that one of the coloured LEDs (an added bonus anyway really) kept flickering on certain colours so we had to change our colour selection which wasn't really an issue at all. The other thing was the smart TV didn't allow us to access Netflix or prime video on the TV, when trying to screen mirror from our phones both apps would block the visuals but not the audio or subtitles and we couldn't connect the HDMI to plug a laptop in because of how the TV is built into the wall. Neither of these were a problem for us and posed as more a mild inconvenience, but just an FYI if anyone plans on bringing anything to link up to the TV or really excited about the mood lighting! The main benefits in my opinion was how polite the staff were, how clean the place was, obviously how close it is to the city centre and how surprisingly quiet it was inside even if there was noise outside. As a final point purely for while covid is going on, this was when London had just gone into a tier 2 lockdown and the staff were handling the whole thing very well, besides the lobby (which we could pass at a distance of 2 metres) there was only twice during our stay that we had to pass guests closer than 2 metres away, guests and staff were also always wearing masks indoors and room cleans were not done during your stay (for our weekend stay at least, I think they said something about after 3 days it will get cleaned but honestly not sure) so this might also be something to mention and check if you're planning on a long stay. Overall, really good value for money if you don't mind a small cozy place just to get your head down. Value wise it was roughly ÂŁ25 cheaper a night than any of the clean looking places we found on booking that were near the BFI IMAX, but the other places were roughly twice the size, so again please keep this in mind if you're looking for a big space. Would definitely come back here again in future!

Great location. The hotel is located within 10 minutes walking distance to the London Eye and a short walk to the Underground. A short ride on the Tube to see Big Ben as well. The hotel had all the amenities needed for a few nights in London. Smaller rooms

My husband and I stayed at this location in March 2025. I would NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone who is looking for transparency and good customer service.

Customer Service: POOR and dishonest. The front staff seem to be friendly however now that we have returned home, we have to come realize they were not being truthful and honest. Essentially we were supposed to travel from Canada to London to arrive and check in on March 21st however due to the Heathrow fire, all flights were cancelled and we couldn’t arrive until the 22nd until the airport reopened. We had booked a non-refundable room which I understand there is usually no exceptions for however the frustrating part was due to the circumstances, our travel company would refund us the whole stay had we cancelled that same night. The travel operator first reached out to the hotel (while they kept us on the line) to say we wouldn’t be arriving later that day (the 21st) due to the fire. They said although it’s not refundable, due to the extenuating circumstances, they will refund the one night provided we show proof of cancellation when we arrive for the rest of our stay. Our travel operator and ourselves were both made aware of this and to make things easier, we went this route. As soon as we arrived the following morning, we provided the front staff with this information but they seemed oblivious. They kept saying “come back later when the manager is here” however they said in these circumstances, it’s usually never a problem making an exception. We checked the front throughout our stay and the manager never was there. It was only on Sunday night before we left that the staff said the manager doesn’t come on weekends and gave a business card to email. Fast forward to returning home, the SAME FRONT DESK staff, Zayden and Stephen, are emailing saying it’s not refundable and most they could do is offer a free night if they have availability. They didn’t offer us when we were there and considering we’re from Canada, we wouldn’t be returning to London anytime soon which is probably why they made this empty proposal. So disappointing as had I known they operate with dishonesty, lying both in person and to our tour operator, we would have cancelled the same night to get a full refund from our operator. Now instead we have lost what we paid for that night.

Rooms: Extremely small. The pictures on their website are taken in a way that shows the room has enough space to move around when in reality, there is hardly enough space for two carry on bags and two people. We had to take turns getting ready while one person waited on the bed, as you couldn’t move around without bumping into each other, even when coming out of the bathroom.

Cleanliness: Despite the room size, the hotel room and bathroom were clean.

Locations: Location was great because the tube was right...

Hi,

I was coming to London for my big interview with my dream company. I had a fairly small budget so I made the mistake of choosing this hotel thinking that for the price maybe an overall rating of 3.8/5 is fine. All I needed was a good night's rest and a refreshing shower in the morning so I paid a little extra for towels, hair dryer and air conditioning.

Yes the sirens were loud and walls thin but since I was tired I just slept. Rooms were small but hey that is what you get with budget hotels right? I wake up sweating in the middle of the night and there is no power. It was a miserable night. In the morning, I got up for my big day and went for a shower, no water. I go to the reception, no attendant. I call and just towards the end someone rushes in to attend. I tell them the situation and I am told due to construction work there is no water on my floor. I ask them to give me a solution as I already know there is no water. I'm given keys to another room (dirty) where I went to take a shower. At this point, I'm SO happy that I got water but within a minute that also stops. I'm half wet, beginning to get late and freaking out for my interview. I rush to the reception and the attendant is not bothered responding with "Oh we have no other free rooms, sorry" (You can/can't just imagine what was going on in my head). Trying to stay calm, I ask for the receptionist to go to the 24/7 shop opposite and get me 3 liters of water. (I had to shave and wash my hair at least!!). Instead now he comes up with another room (even dirtier, like properly filthy) where using the first minute of water I managed to shave and yes, the water stops AGAIN. I clean the shaving cream off my face using a tissue paper! I go back to the reception and say that its the same problem and i'm told "There's no water, sorry". The staff was SO nice that they gave me TWO small water bottles from the vending machine. With that, I returned to my room, washed my hair and used the 84 pounds worth of blow dryer, changed and got the hell out of there. Oh and the staff was barely trained enough to print me my receipt which was this close to not being printed as the the attendant told me the printer is not working. Some miracle and help from an incoming attendant in the morning was able to sort that out.

Look you can spend another 20-25 pounds more and get a fairly larger room with tables, chairs, tea, phone in your room (call the reception instead of heading over to it), water in the morning, breakfast and so much more. Your other best option is to spend a night under a bridge.

Please don't stay here.

Hope you find...
