Waterloo Millennium Green — Attraction in London

Small patch of park at a very busy intersection, and near a bus station and right across the old vic theater. Perfect place to eat your snack or lunch if you happen to live or work nearby. I pass through this park on my way to work and i make it a point to spend a few minutes here to catch my breath before i continue my walk towards Lower Marsh. There's also a foodstand at the corner of the park. It's nothing spectacular and I wont advise tourists to go out of their way just to see it. But if you are already very near the area, you might want to pass by...

Millennium Green is in my DNA...I lived out of that space for 12+ months after the bullring (Waterloo)was grabbed back for a poxy Imax cinema..all part of the theme park London gentrification ting...the green ..millennium green that is was and is one of the only bits of green space those who live locally..on the Peabodys etc..have....was chuffed when Extinction Rebellion plotted up there..though I was a bit put out by the 'rules' they laid down...alex saz jaz...

It is a small but nice garden, opposite Waterloo Station. It is perfect if you are meeting people coming out of the train station and you don't want to trek lots.
