Read moreI saw this place by chance, on my way to the graffiti tunnel. I arrived by subway after about an hour's ride, and I needed a place to freshen up with a cold drink. I opened Google Maps, saw the direction of my walk and what was in the area. The street market immediately excited me. its location it is near the side wall of the Waterloo station. I was in the middle of the week, there were quite a lot of stalls open on the street. In one part is a market for crafts, special clothing, hats and scarves. A beautiful jewelry stand. Further down the market. In the part closer to the street leading to the front of the station, there are many food stalls. Mainly authentic food from all kinds of countries in the world. The stalls were almost like Noah's ark of international foods. I planned to return to the market and the food stalls, later, because in the morning I was not yet hungry. Yesterday I went and met a lovely lady at the Sicilian stand; turns out she does marketing for the market and they have a loyalty card giving £5 off every 5 meals.
