Ila Cafe & Desserts — Restaurant in London

I exited the lambeth north bakerloo line, and this beautiful establishment showcased the beautiful perspective of the London Eye. Not only was the view outside absolutely gorgeous walking to, but also the feeling of the beautiful café was phenomenal.

I ordered a special order of waffles with strawberries, custards (I think that’s what it’s called: the toppings), bananas, chocolate sauce / topping on top. The food was phenomenal: presentation absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t wait to write a review.

The batter mix for the waffle was like cake batter: warm, delicious, and I was overall grateful for such a beautiful experience. Staff was wonderful, bright, and kind. Have been craving waffles/pancakes at nighttime / dinner time all day, and this was amazing. For all of my night time breakfast eaters or 24/7 breakfast lovers: this place is for you.

Popped in for a waffle and a bubble tea. In the end, the Ferrero waffle was hot and fresh, the brown sugar cream bubble tea hit the spot, and our server was friendly and seemed helpful when someone came in after us with special dietary requirements.

The first downside is that there is only one table with a picnic style table - a table with no gaps would better suit the silverware you eat in with. We did end up dropping the silverware through the table once. The second downside is that we felt a bit nagged to post review. One reminder is fine - I'm the type to post reviews anyway, but some people only post after the suggestion. Most of it it's to take away, we were 4 having food & drinks, there's only one table, we waited for a family to finish eating, and when it was our turn, one employee treated us so rude, didn't let me even finish my coffee, i had to take my cup and leave the place. We didn't enjoy the meal due to rude worker Who shout at me all the time, saying that i was taking so much time, i tried to explained him that the girl who took the order didn't give us complete, and we had to wait longer for the rest of the order.
