One of my favourite (relatively) local green spaces, for me it's full of great childhood memories and a place where new memories can be made on any given day. It's maintained by the team of gardeners/groundskeepers based up the road @ regent's park, who do a great job in keeping it neat but not thrashed to death with strimmers. There's a little children's park, in need of a bit of modernisation but no less fun for the nippers than any other play area. I like the old style Citroen tuck van selling snacks and refreshments (apologies but I don't know the hours it operates). A pretty well equipped and much used outdoor gym/exercise area, secluded behind tall hedges to keep the sweaty Betty's away from the afternoon strollers. Whether you're bringing the blanket and having a picnic, going for a jog or walking the pooch, there's a place for you at Primrose hill. Although a popular tourist attraction, I find it usually less busy and more relaxing than say parliament hill on Hampstead heath. Also worth mentioning that if you walk to the top of Primrose hill and reach the peak there is a permanently fixed metal information board pointing out landmarks across the skyline and you'll enjoy some of the best views of London Town from an outside space (as a pose to one of London's tall buildings or other high up but indoor viewing spots, remember parks are free to come and go from where as the London eye is not). The smooth finished but skinny little pathways that are spider's webbed across the park are highlighted by quaint old fashioned...

These words were spoken by behemoth poet William Blake. They could have been said by any and all who venture here. Lovely on a hot summers day, the top of the hill gets a nice breeze keeping you cooler than anywhere else in the park else so that's a quick tip. Bring a camera for possibly one of the best views of London you will find and a genuinely nice big park with regents park and London zoo next to it and within the park there is a playground...

I'm thirty-five now and Primrose Hill never fails to amuse and delight. There's something for all the family, a smaller play area for babies and tots, the main one for children up to fourteen years, an exercise area with bars and benches for those fourteen to adult, plus a café toilets, and a first aid room which is always staffed by a qualified...
