ZooTown — Attraction in London

While in the reptile house with my family we overheard a child talking in a weird language with the python. Another young boy was extremely loud but then he fell in the enclosure and the snake came out of the enclosure. Like magic the glass came back and the boy was trapped behind the glass. For the safety of my family we had to flee the reptile house. We then learned the snake wasn't captured and was loose in the zoo. The zoo then closed for the day and we weren't even refunded our money. They need to make the enclosures safer so this doesn't...

First off, the spot where the Harry Potter scene was filmed is now closed. This was so disappointing! There are zoos all over the world and the main reason we wanted to visit this one in particular was the Harry Potter connection.

Well …. no more!

Then, there were multiple places where the animals were not visible: the squirrel monkeys, the African dogs … the zoo staff that hang out in the area, rather than helping you see them were just usually chatting amongst themselves and were completely uninterested...

My children were fortunate enough to have an early preview of ZooTown at London Zoo. It's an immersive, exciting role play experience with loads of ways for kids to play - they can be a vet, a scientist, a zoo keeper and lots more - my children (8 and 6) had to be dragged out at the end of the session, they were having so much fun. There are some really fun touches to make adults...
