Sadly Google doesn't allow me to give zero stars. As many others have pointed out (which I regretfully did not check before visiting), the service at this restaurant is shockingly poor.

I sensed it right when we entered the restaurant. Did not serve us water and when we asked for it, the middled aged male waiter with glasses seemed highly displeased to do so and served us two miserable glass of water without a jar. Probably unhappy because we did not order drinks?

But that's not the worse, when my friend and I asked if we could split the bill by item (we ordered two different dishes), the same waiter seemed unhappy and questioned us THREE times. He said our dishes were only £1 difference in cost and rudely implied that we should not split the bill. He then POINTED rudely at us and said, "you pay £14, and you pay £13!". I'm absolutely shocked at such rude behavior, where do you hire such hooligans from? If you are unable to split the bill, just tell us and it's fine but how can you question a customer's decision? And to point your fingers at them? It's none of your business even if the difference is £1.

I saw how the staff interacted with other guests, and their attitudes were totally different. Even asking about their day and where they are from. As for us, they didn't even bother serving water until we asked for it and they did it unwillingly.

My gut feeling is that they only care about their "regular" patrons or guests who order a plethora of dishes and drinks, and otherwise discriminate against people who order only a few dishes. A customer is a customer, to treat them differentially based on how "valuable" or "profitable" you think they are is disgusting.

And still had the decency to charge a £3 service fee when all the service we got was discrimination.

As a Singaporean Chinese myself, I feel disgraced by this place, which seem to pride themselves on Asian food and coining several dishes under the Singapore banner. By the way, the beef hor fun I had was bland.

Please come to Singapore and visit any restaurant here and you will see what true hospitality is supposed to be like.

Will not...

We visited this restaurant last night as a celebration for my birthday as I had heard about this establishment via TikTok. I arrived with my partner my 5 year old son and 1 and a half old daughter. On arrival there was only one other table there and we was seated in the corner right next to the bar what was an extremely awkward and unusual place to be seated. Our order was taken quite quickly and while waiting for our food to come another family came in with a younger child and was offered a child’s seat what we wasn’t and I found that extremely weird as my daughter really could’ve done was a child seat. The kids had a mango juice what was extremely over priced when I saw them pouring it from a Rubicon carten. When the food arrived it was such a let down, my partner and my kids ordered the sweet and sour chicken and I ordered the crispy chilli beef, it seemed as the same sauce was used on both of them and it was definitely not sweet and sour and definitely no chilli. The egg fried rice was just boiled rice with scrambled egg the steamed gyozas were dreadful. The customer service was terrible I got the sense from when I walked in and they saw we had kids with us they wasn’t pleased and we felt quite judged. We asked for forks because my children do not know how to use chopsticks and they brought over one pair cutlery and had to ask again for another set. We never had a check back to see how our food was and as a ex waitress I know making sure your customers are comfortable and enjoying their food should always be top priority. When the bill came my partner had he’s hand out to be handed the bill and the man just threw it on the table and walked off.

We will never be visiting this restaurant and if you have kids then don’t bother. If you don’t want kids in your restaurant let...

We have been regulars at this restaurant, but have decided not to dine here anymore. We booked a table at 8.15 arrived and no one came to our table to ask us for a drink or the food order until 9pm. I had asked for a manager for the last 45 minutes but she never came to the table and ignored us. Eventually our order was taken and our starter arrived at 9.15. One hour after we had arrived. When ordered veg dumplings and when they arrived the online menu said 5 pieces but only 4 came. When we asked to see a manager a lady with red hair came and argued with us when we said that we are getting poor service. She didn’t even apologise and treated us a paying customer like we were beggars!!! When we mention that the online menu is not accurate and we were dissatisfied with waiting an hour to be served, she told us that we are welcome to leave and complain to the owner of the restaurant as she could not care less! With other customers looking shocked with such insults towards us we decided enough was enough from the pathetic staff at this restaurant and left . The evening was ruined by these cowboys who don’t have any respect for customers and are only interested in money and greed. The staff can behave in this manner only if the owner has no respect for their customers as the Chinese proverb says” The fish 🐠 always rots from head downwards. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU ARE A LOCAL OR A TOURIST AS YOU WILL BE TREATED WITH DISRESPECT, BEGGER AND WITH CONTEMPT BY THE MANAGER AND SHE CONFIRMED WITHOUT FEAR THAT HER OWNER ENCOURAGES PAYING CUSTOMERS TO BE SUBJECTED TO DISRESPECT AND DEMEANING IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS. YOU PAY TO BE INSULTED AND TO PAY FOR THIS EMBARRASSMENT. The worst place in regent...

This is my second time coming to this restaurant with my family and honestly the food here is very nice. We got 10 dishes and 5 drinks which came to just under £170 including almost £20 service charge which was very much deserved. In general when getting Chinese takeout, I usually find chow mein very tasteless but I decided to order some for my little one (as noodles tend to be the easiest thing for kids to eat when out) and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was! As was the King Prawn Vermicelli, XO chilli King Prawn fried rice and everything else we ordered. If you like chilli, ask them to make it extra hot. We ordered the following and each dish was lovely: King Prawn Fried Rice XO Chilli King Prawn Vermicelli Chicken Chow Mein Prawn Toast Salt and Pepper Squid Salt and Pepper ribs BBQ ribs Unfortunately I didn’t get a pict of everything. The restaurant staff were great and very accommodating. We even came along with a little birthday cake for my daughter, the staff happily took the bag and when it was time they brought out the cake with the lit candle and had the whole restaurant singing happy birthday for my girl who was absolutely elated. It was very touching. 10s all across the board! I’ve read some of the other reviews and was shocked by a handful. The first time we visited, the serving staff were mixed with East Asian staff and South Asian staff, on this occasion they appeared to be mainly South Asian. THIS SHOULDN’T EVEN BE AN ISSUE! The staff on both visits were great! Parking wise. I purposely only go on Sundays as you can park outside the restaurant on the main road but I don’t know what the restrictions are on the other days.

What a disappointment. Three of us were very excited to go to this place on a way back from our wonderful Sunday walk. The plan was to pop in for a drink and making a big group booking for next week Sunday dinner. The first waiter who spoke limited English, sitted us at the table and accepted that we are coming for drinks only. Restaurant was 30% full with huge capacity and no reservations. After 10mins another waiter comes over, takes our drink order and accepts that we are not going to order food. When drinks arrived, another waiter cones over and requests food order. For the 3rd time we explained we are not going to eat. This time the waiter becomes rude and request that immediate payment for the drinks and gives us 5 mins to leave the venue. How disappointing and unwelcomed have they made us feel! You have lost customers (a big group of 10 people), who could then recommend you to many more customers. Clearly, you do not care about it. We will definitely not return and sadly will recommend others doing the same.
