Take my advise avoid! It's advertised twice on Booking.com as The Pink House and Beautiful 2 bedroom flat in Camden, 65A Chalk farm Rd. Hannah the host has a bad reputation which she lives up to. Booked 2 bed "flat" for 2 nights 16th to 18th Jan 2025. Hannah does not give a toss about this property, you or have a hospitality bone in her body. She can only be in it for the money. She certainly takes no pride in her customer service skills or property management. She used her mother being in hospital as an excuse to ghost us and a cancer diagnosis to manipulate us. Front gate has a code to get in. Often found this door unlocked. Did not feel safe. The front door of the house is constantly open. No light on the landing to Flat 4. Had to use the torch on the phone or feel around the wall as the switch is beside the door not on the way up the flight of stairs. First impressions were that the flat was nice, good location across from the market. Then we noticed a whole section of wall in the sitting room had brown mould. Contacted the host who said apartment (flat) above had a leak. Why was the wall not painted?. Futon couches were stained and uncomfortable to sit on. Smell from fridge. Old food in freezer. Noticed mold in bathroom and bedroom. The communal area carpets were filthy and needing replacement, carpets in bedroom not great either. Pathway in from gate also not a clean. We decided its a bit of a dump but cheap and only for 2 nights. On the first night the cheap IKEA metal base slats snapped in half. So 2 people had to sleep on the stained uncomfortable futons. No spare sheets or extra duvet. The other "double" bed was actually a day bed, two singles side by side with a cheap mould stained mattress. The host didn't return our calls the following morning. We got a text that the cleaning man will fix the unfixable bed. This was not good enough a phonecall was warranted. We received a text to vacate and with a refund. But still no phonecall. When she answered in the late afternoon, her attitude was not apologetic, she tried to make us feel guilt for complaining by saying her mother was diagnosed with cancer. I believe this to be untrue. This is a business which she seems to have a history in avoiding customer issues. She wouldn't listened to our complaints, raised her voice, told us to leave or she will have her cleaner remove our stuff. We did not leave until we had written confirmation from booking.com of a refund. Total kip with someone who has no people skills and who has ever heard of customer...
Read moreHonestly the most disgusting place I have ever stayed in. The bed sheets were stained and covered in hairs. At the very least, you would expect clean bedsheets. As a result of this I did not complete my stay. I was actively searching for alternate accommodation however I was unable to do find anywhere as it was late at night. I did not sleep the entire night as I refused to sleep on unclean bedsheets. The host did not respond to messages or calls. You would think during a pandemic the host would prioritise the cleanliness of the apartment.
The photos of the property are filtered and not an accurate reflection of the current state. The ceilings have mould on them. The double bed is extremely unstable as it broken, it is being held up by some wooden logs. The entire property is a DIY project gone bad. Not only was the property filthy, the neighbouring apartment threw a house party with a DJ until 4am, the noise was unbearable as it vibrated through the apartment.
Did I mention the place is also unsafe? The host keeps a master key in the hallway, which any of the other guests can access. The gate was also constantly being left open by other tenants.
If your looking for a sleepless night in unclean and unsafe room then this is the place to be. Give this place...

The property itself is in a good location and easy to access. That’s all that’s good about it, we booked via booking.com and the pictures literally looked nothing like the actual property we stayed in, the whole place was absolutely disgusting and to top it off there were bed bugs. When contacting the host Hannah regarding this and providing proof of the bed bug infestation and bites I had suffered she assured me there would be a company going in to check the property and that I would receive the report of their findings but firstly accused me of fetching the bed bug all the way from Yorkshire on the train…
I was bitten really badly to the point you can still see these now on my body and I stayed in November. Hannah then ghosted me when I asked her to provide the report and offered no compensation whatsoever, which clearly shows lack of professionalism and care. I have never had such a vile experience staying somewhere in my life and will look to take further legal action as I can still see they are letting people stay here...
