A fantastic market that often has everything you need (fruit and veg, takeaway food, electronics and DIY tools etc) with very friendly and approachable merchants. In particular, George's stall is fantastic for DIY tools and electronics and I have been there many times. Penny's is also another stall that I buy from often. It is run by Graham who is very honest and friendly and sells cleaning products and other household items at a very affordable price. I would recommend this market to anyone visiting the local area.

It was nice, maybe little known passage of the Liberty shopping centre, connecting its central hall with the Market Place. Nice, charming caffes, suitable for romantic rendezvous, also big shoe shop with really low prices for branded shoes, flight centre, health and beauty salons, several toys for children, etc. I was really surprised to find all that and hope to come here again. Yes, Romford and its shops are worth exploring!

Romford Market is a delightful haven for anyone seeking fresh, high-quality produce in the heart of Romford. I recently had the pleasure of exploring this vibrant market, and it left me thoroughly impressed. First and foremost, the selection of vegetables and fruits at Romford Market is exceptional. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with an array of colorful and enticing displays. The produce is incredibly fresh and sourced from local farmers, ensuring that you get the best of the season. Whether you're looking for crisp, vibrant vegetables or juicy, succulent fruits, this market has it all. One of the aspects that sets Romford Market apart is its convenient opening hours. The market operates on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, starting bright and early at 4am and remaining open until 5:30 pm. This makes it convenient for early risers or those who want to squeeze in some shopping after work. The extended hours allow you to have a flexible shopping experience, ensuring that you never miss out on the freshest picks. The atmosphere at Romford Market is bustling and lively, creating a vibrant ambiance. The vendors are friendly and passionate about their produce, and they are always ready to offer recommendations or share their knowledge. In addition to the fresh produce, Romford Market also offers a variety of other items. You can find stalls selling baked goods, artisanal products, clothing, and much more. It's a one-stop destination where you can fulfill your shopping needs while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. Parking is available nearby, making it convenient to access the market. However, I would recommend arriving early, especially on busy market days, to secure a parking spot. Overall, Romford Market is a hidden gem that deserves recognition for its exceptional selection of fresh produce and convenient opening hours. Whether you're a local resident or visiting the area, this market is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates quality and wants to support local farmers. Make sure to mark your calendar for Wednesdays, Fridays, or Saturdays and set your alarm clock for an early start. Romford Market will reward you with a delightful shopping experience and the freshest fruits and vegetables that will elevate your culinary adventures.

Note: It's always a good idea to check the market's opening hours before your visit, as they may be subject to change. Enjoy exploring Romford Market and indulging in the abundance of fresh produce it...

Still a great place to do some shopping, unfortunately, not as great as it used to be!,. Traders pitches at 100 quid per day, may be more?, but all the peripheral sundries of snacks , super markets clothing and jewellery still make this an all In compassing experience, a few new shops pop up from time to time, some have obviously lost their way, with mergers with the giant conglomerates the probably feel it's more effective to knock it down and start again, there's a few good traders that have stood the test of time, and remain, there's something really nice about familiarity and knowing you can go back week after week and see that friendly trader you ve seen over the last few years, lots of places try to accommodate the high end option, that have inflated prices and make it not so accessible to us everyday struggling peeps looking for that bargain, we now have to shop wisely, endeavouring to clinch thar special deal that's not really there anymore, Shame really, I remember as a kid going there with my nan and loving the whole experience, now it's just the thought of what it was before and the memory that some old times brings us back.

Easy access by bus, train, and enough parking in the local carparks, plenty of spots to feed the family and the hungry bellies alike, with the Brewery and the Liberty adjacent, and evening entertainment it's almost a must for any family that can have a simple trip out, but probably for the cost of a petrol tank refill?, Long live Romford market, but make it cheaper for the trader's to allow more competition and more competitive...
