Truly Scrumptious Cafe — Restaurant in London

They have the best croissants I have had from anywhere so far! Truly exceptional! Since having Truly Scrumptious Cafe’s croissants, every croissants I have gets compared and I’m am left always unsatisfied from others’.

I’ve had them first thing in the morning and in the evenings, they bake them fresh and unlike other places or from any supermarkets, they don’t go all chewy or dry after a couple of hours. To be fair, I’ve always consumed them within minutes of purchasing them but I assume they were on the counter for some time when I had them that one evening.

I am not local to them however, whenever I pass by or if I’m working nearby, I always go in there for a coffee and a croissant, it makes my day plus you get them for a really good price, £3 for a large latte and a croissant that delicious, or should I say “Truly Scrumptious”

It is the plain croissants that I’m mad, haven’t had a chance to try other foods yet but will do next...

My partner and I went for breakfast one morning; superb choice in light bites and bigger meals. The staff were brilliant, welcoming and friendly, which we were even more grateful for as we were walking in with suitcases and big bags. The food was cooked beautifully. It was absolutely delicious and both my partner and I agreed that it was one of the best meals we'd had for our short time in London.

Been coming here for quite a few years now. It's sad to see the downfall this café has had the last few months, trying to be a restaurant and not sticking to its roots :( They have a new scanning system on the tables the boss uses to keep the tips for HIMSELF! so if u come here just know if you want to tip do it in cash so the greedy boss keeps his hands off it (and yes it is illegal for the boss to do this i would have assumed he was smarter then that). This café used to be full of life but now it's just dull and gloomy. Think me and my friends will start going to one of the Cafés in Kentish Town for our lunch.
