Amazing architecture with lots of attention to detail. Love the natural Ventilation features, the cork, timber and concrete finishes and the colourful materials used . All really thoughtful put together and I hope they are up for an architecture award because that venue absolutely deserves it. We tried the restaurant which was most probably my least favourite thing of the whole night. It hasn’t found its place yet. The chef seems to be talented, but the staff And the whole ordering process felt very chaotic . They couldn’t find a bottle opener for 20 minutes so we ended up choosing a different wine and the food wasn’t as described on the menu. Also the online menu promised more salads which werent on on the real menu on a hot summer day . the dumplings were really yummy but they came with a broth which didn’t say on the menu and the vermicelli salad turned out to be a stirfry rather than a salad . This was important to me because I’m trying to eat a lot of fresh vegetables at the moment and it was described differently. the wine list was good. There was a lot of staff behind the bar but very few seem to be well trained . But really I went there to see R. O. S. E. It was incredible and nothing I have seen in that format. Basically a club night with an amazing sound system and the dancers beeing the main show and not the DJ. In between the dancers performances the audience was just dancing like in a club and then the dancers popped up again in different corners of the venue. Sound was quite...
Read moreTook my daughter to see snow white. Theatre is easily accessible from car park B, follow signs for chestnut plaza and it is a easy 5 mins stroll from the plaza. The theatre has level accessibility from the shopping centre. There is a bar and restaurant on site for both pre and post food. Prices were what is to be expected for a theatre and relatively short queues for the toilet. Clean throughout, with a clear space that children used to play and do acrobatics. Seating in the auditorium is spacious and not cramped like most central London theatres, which is likely due to it being a modern and recent building. Will be back again as it is nice to have a venue that doesn't require travelling tk central London. @sadlerswells, please build a site in...
