Tranquil and a only a few yards from bustling Deansgate. This park is small but it still has a beautiful selection of trees, flowers and plants. Nice to see lots of palms here.

Benches are spaced out so it's possible to get some time to yourself. I can recall from when I lived in a city (in the past in London) a park like this offered invaluable peace and calm from hectic city life.

Unfortunately, it smelled of urine on the side near Deansgate, but I bet the council do it their best to manage this. I visited on a hot summers day so it was probably particularly pungent.

Worth revisiting as it's near where I park the car when going to Manchester. When I do I'll update...

I love this place. Such a small park, right in the heart of the city. Loads of people from the nearby offices spend their lunch time here. It's the best place to snooze for 30/45 minutes from a mad busy day at work and specially during summers, I do it all the time. Just sit in the sun , feel the fresh air in your face, enjoy a nice healthy salad or a sandwich and forget about all the noice of the city. In summers, there are loads of people with toddlers and young children too. It's just a joy to watch them play with their dogs or tirelessly running after pigons, not letting them sit. Loads of lovely places to...

Saint John's Gardens is a wonderfully peaceful spot, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. After an intense tour of Old Trafford Stadium, sitting in this garden was the ideal way to relax. The sound of birds chirping, mixed with the distant hum of traffic, created a serene atmosphere that brought me a sense of zen. I'm finding it hard not to fall asleep while writing this review because the tranquility here is that calming. It's a beautiful blend of nature and urban life, offering a much-needed escape. Highly recommended for anyone looking to chill out...
