Tranquil and a only a few yards from bustling Deansgate. This park is small but it still has a beautiful selection of trees, flowers and plants. Nice to see lots of palms here.
Benches are spaced out so it's possible to get some time to yourself. I can recall from when I lived in a city (in the past in London) a park like this offered invaluable peace and calm from hectic city life.
Unfortunately, it smelled of urine on the side near Deansgate, but I bet the council do it their best to manage this. I visited on a hot summers day so it was probably particularly pungent.

Read moreI love this place. Such a small park, right in the heart of the city. Loads of people from the nearby offices spend their lunch time here. It's the best place to snooze for 30/45 minutes from a mad busy day at work and specially during summers, I do it all the time. Just sit in the sun , feel the fresh air in your face, enjoy a nice healthy salad or a sandwich and forget about all the noice of the city.
