Final Thoughts
Westfield London shines as a premium, well-curated shopping centreāideal for grabbing a coffee, browsing major brands, or enjoying a cinematic experience. Its design and ambience set it apart from typical malls.
That said, if you're heading there during busy hours or peak shopping seasons, be prepared for a bustling vibe and allow extra time for parking and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe carpark is a bit annoying to get in and out of, one of those "you have to drive through the whole thing just to get to the entrance/exit" which makes its a dodge the pedestrian run on busy days but that's really the only bad thing about the place. The carpark itself is big with plenty of space. The range of shops is good for a Tesco's, Asda, Morrison like retail park. The best thing about the place is it's never really packed even on a Saturday which makes the weekly shop a fairly relaxed experience. Shops include a large Morrisons (with cafe and petrol station), Poundland, Costa, a big pet shop, Macdonald's, Pizza Hut, Aldi, B&M, Boots, Next, Central Barbers. As for Covid19 it's easy to keep socially distanced here as there is lots of room. There is even a pretty woods just across the main road with kid friendly public foot paths. Do the weekly shop, throw it in the boot of the car, buy a coffee and take a relaxing walk through the woods for an hour while the kids run about burning of some excess energy. Not to bad a way to spend a...

I advise visiting one or more of the pound shops first to cut your shopping bill by a third - it's fascinating to see, for example, breakfast cereal bars at a pound a packet compared with the 50p off "bargains" in the "real" supermarkets which still cost £1.50! But be warned if you returm your library books there (as I do, rather than trek into centre:mk) - the library has moved to another grid square temporarily until another building in the WDC has...
