Nice, calm outdoor space. Largely on a hill slope. The gardens are a bit unkempt, a small kids play area can get busy quite quickly, no public toilets and some of the footpaths are uneven. Lots of benches to sit on and rest. Not much shelter if caught out in a shower.

Beautiful park, lots to explore. The park is in much need of updating but that is planned for this year. Hilly in parts. No toilets or parking.

Some facilities have been improved, grass half cut. Chaotic to park but a good Saturday at the park vibe.

Sat on the hill with views from the top, a duck pond, lovely trees and large area of grass, this park could be, and obviously has been in the past, a wonderful place to visit, take kids to play, have a picnic in the summer and work out (the equipment is there). But now it's so run down, it's certainly not very welcoming. For one, there are no toilets (and no alternatives nearby), despite there already being a building that could be adapted, so spending anymore than an hour or two there for many people and kids will be difficult. Secondly, the pathway along the side of the bowling green (where a lot of the rhododendrons are) is in an appalling state & pretty much inaccessible to anyone in a wheelchair or with a buggy (unless built for off-roading!) And thirdly, i'd be more than slightly dubious about how safe the equipment there actually is when so much else is obviously being neglected. It's so disheartening to see once glorious parks...

Thoroughly disappointing. The park features a playground and calisthenics bars, both surrounded by overgrown grass, mud, and water, reflecting a general state of neglect. The entire park is consistently messy, with flooded paths, loose debris, and concrete posing serious accessibility hazards. At the lower end, there’s a supposed BMX track that is merely a series of small hills with broken concrete and muddy patches. The grass is often overgrown, and many trees appear to be dying. Despite signs claiming efforts to attract more insects and wildlife, the neglect suggests otherwise. The old duck pond is devoid of any life. Aside from the playground, there’s little else to do here, and there are no...

I've always been here for as long as I can remember. It's a spacious park with stunning views at the top of the hill. It did get a bit run down for a while with the playground being vandalised but the local council has renovated it now. They've also improved the drainage solution near the pond with more drains, as the path could have a lot of surface water at times. Big trees🌲as well. A BMX bike trail for the cyclists. There's a lot of entrances to access this park so it makes life easier haha. 😆 A lot of local history attached to this park with the information boards explaining it. I would suggest visiting this park and admiring the...
