Pirate's Quest Adventure Golf — Attraction in Newquay

I don’t really give bad reviews for anything but I just felt I needed to address this place properly.

We came because the reviews say it’s amazing but honestly it was quite disappointing.

I thought that the decorations and all of the scenery were amazing but the holes in general were quite a let down. Not even carpet in most places and just hitting a ball across the wooden walkway floor to which it just rolls about and doesn’t really stop enough to lineup properly

The staff were very rude (except the man at the front desk who seemed lovely) and the pirate that follows you round was just awkward, rude and very weird. Not how you’d like a friendly pirate to be.

Also, the price was obscene being almost double than expected.

Came out of it not feeling energised an happy but quite disappointed...

My family and I visited this crazy golf spot on a Saturday morning. We were 4 adults and 2 children. The holes weren't too challenging. My nephew, who is 6, was able to complete the holes with ease. The only bug bear was waiting for others to complete the circuit, other players took a long time taking photos and caused a bit of congestion. It took roughly an hour to complete. There was a lot of factual information about pirates and Cornwall in general, which I found interesting. The course is touted as having live actors. When we played, there was only one, although she was appropriately dressed, I felt she could have been in character more...

I have just been with my husband and my teenage son and done the glow adventure golf special that they are holding as a Halloween special for a period of time. I have to say it was fantastic, great for those with older kids and want to do something fun and exciting together. We laughed all the way around with nervous excitement of what was around the next corner ready to make us jump. With live actors running round ready to scare it was the perfect amount of fright to make you laugh all way through. We would definitely go again and can’t recommend enough.
