It is a very pretty and enjoyable walk, however it is super short! It lasted just about 15-20 minutes. Its good if you have somewhere to go and want to take a short cut through this park or possibly for a picnic. But for a long walk I would recommend going somewhere else

Another park but silent one. One would love to walk the park along with pets and mets. Lots of grass and shadow. View from the top is equally good too. May visit again. Cheers to life!!!

Very nice area to walk through. There are plenty of dog walkers. I have seen people flying kites, as well as playing Frisbee.

There are good views of the Town Centre skyline, as well as of Hemdean Road and Caversham. There is a path that leads from Balmore Park Surgery, and you can either take the stairs adjacent an allotment or make your way up the steep incline via the well-worn trails underfoot.

There are some beautiful trees and a lovely wooded section to walk through on your way from Caversham to Emmer Green. It can get very slippery after it's rained, though, so please do bear that in mind.

As you climb the hill, which runs roughly parallel to Rotherfield Way, there is another wooded section, and walking under the canopy of trees is quite lovely. The path takes you down some steps and out between houses onto the main road.

There are benches to sit on at various points, and it's altogether a very pleasant area to spend time in. There are a set of steps reasonably close to Caversham Primary School, which also lead up to the site.

Balmore Walk can clearly be seen from Hemdean Road as you drive along it, near to Caversham Centre. However, for much of its area, it's hidden. Sort of like a large secret garden. It's lovely. An oasis of calm. An idyll....

Local park with great views across Reading looking South and West. A bit slippery under foot with Autumn leaves, but a safe place for dogs to run, and the steep climb in and out gets you a bit of blood...
