A lovely place to eat in Caversham. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of places to eat in Caversham and lots of food choices that you could make but, if you get the chance I would highly recommend that you try this restaurant. It is located on the west side of Prospect Street just north of the Caversham Bridge. It is right off the street with a very nice glass window storefront. I walked in without reservations and was able to get a table early one afternoon. I am fairly certain that this was a fluke since the entire place was full not 30 minutes after we sat down. All this is to say, I would recommend calling and making reservations before you visit. You are greeted by a hostess who takes you to your table. The interior has wood floors, tables and chairs, and brick walls. It has a very nice, bright, and clean look to it. The tables are a mix of small and large tables in 3 areas. We were greeted and seated quickly. The menu has many Italian choices. I tried the Fettucini dish and a cider. The food arrived quickly, was a large portion, and was delicious. The waitress was very helpful and efficient. Overall, this was a lovely find for a wonderful dinner in Caversham. I highly recommend it but make reservations ahead of...

OK so this is a review of a takeaway as my partner had a first grand daughter 5 days ago so mum, dad and babe not able to eat out yet. I left a message to say I wanted to place an order and was called back. The order was placed and ready for collection less that half an hour later and, if you use the Chester Street carpark, there is a back entrance and everything was ready and waiting. My lady went for the Fettucine al Funghi - creamy garlic mushrooms to you and I. She was blown away by the flavours and I had a taste of what was left and can agree it was SO mushroom flavoured. I opted for the Penne Arrabbiata con Pollo with a side order of Meatballs. Starting with the latter they are probably the nicest meatballs I have tasted in my much travelled 68 years. The Arrabbiata was pretty amazing too with lots of flavour and plenty of meat - speaking purely personally I would have liked a little more sauce but it's a personal thing and the flavours were spot on. The youngsters opted for pizzas which I'm told were excellent but they were attending to their new princess to focus too much on the food. I lok forward to visiting the place again and sampling their full menu as the limited takeaway one...

Had recently visited this quaint little Italian restaurant in the Caversham area. My friends had dined there and have some good feedback. Recommend, you book a table in advance as the restaurant gets busy for dinner. Parking is available round the corner to the rear of the facility. The menu has an elaborate selection of drinks, pizza, fresh pasta and other Italian delicacies. Orders were swiftly taken and the starters came out almost instantly. As stated in the menu the pasta dishes are made fresh and do take some time to get served. Coming to taste, food was quite fresh and well seasoned. We'd have like the fettuccine to be cooked a minute longer and the risotto to be slightly creamier. But for that, everything else was delicious. Equally good was the selection of desserts. Service was efficient. Shall definitely revisit to try more dishes from their elaborate menu. Here's my overall rating Food - 4.25/5 Service -...

We were in a dilemma about where to go for a birthday celebration, but choosing Quattro turned out to be the best decision we could have made. From the moment you step inside, you know it’s going to be a great experience. The ambience, the lively vibes, and the courteous staff instantly make you feel that you’ve come to the right place. We started with Sorrentina and Mozzarella in Carrozza as appetizers. The Sorrentina was generous in size yet absolutely delicious, while the mozzarella was cooked to perfection. For the mains, we ordered Penne Arrabbiata and Risotto Marinara. The seafood in the risotto is still mouthwatering as I write this review. The portions were more than enough for us, and the bill came to around £70, including a drink each. We’ll definitely be going back -this time with friends. A celebration at Quattro is the kind you’ll always want to remember forever. 😍
