Recently had my step daughters birthday party here, it was the most unorganised, sweaty day. - First of all, we arent told about receiving 50% off our next visit, nor about the fact parents of the birthday child get a free drink. One of the other parents made me aware. Every question that was asked was answered with an I dont know, or I will have to go and check. We asked our helper for an extra plate, it wasn't recieved. We were suggested to sing happy birthday before their food has actually come out. When the food did come out it was the wrong order. - we had to ask multiple times for a mop due to spilled slushies everywhere as the table we had been placed at was wobbly. - we recieved a mop. But no bucket. Had to ask separately for that. - either way all of the kids feet were wet and sticky. Then when we asked to cut the cake we waited ages for a knife. - other parents kept making comments about how badly organised everything was. - I couldn't agree more. - the man who was helping us was very nice and very apologetic though. We all eventually recieved another 50% off voucher. This brings us to our visit today. I phoned up to ask if we still needed to book or if we could just arrive. I was advised to book but that we could just arrive if there was space. I asked her to check how much space there was for me as we wanted to set off right away. I was told to have a look online. - felt it was too much trouble. I then couldn't see an option online to use the vouchers so called back again. I was advised this time to just show up as it was showing as there was a lot of space available. When we arrived my partner and I ordered food. - we paid and waited for a response, nothing, asked if it had gone through and she replied yes. The lady then had to come upstairs to us to ask us to re- write our order down again as the system had dropped which was fine and apologised saying she was new. Then my partners food arrived and we sat waiting for mine. A few mins later there was announcement on the tannoy for the person who had ordered this to go and collect it. Like what? I went down and explained the other half was upstairs and they said it had been a mix up.
this place is as exhausting for the adults as it is for the kids. - least the kids had fun!
Also, food was nice...
Read moreSo I took my kids here and they loved it we was with a friend and there kid aswell. Now what let this down was towards the end when a young lad who was supposed to be working was more interested on hugging a what I can only belive to be his girlfriend that might work there. Than watching for kids that are to small for particular areas and then when the kids are having fun on that area then telling them to get of it.
Further more it was a hot day and this was not to be missed we had been there a while baught food two rounds of drinks for 5 of us ice creams and paid to get in so we wasn't just a quick visit. But when u noticed that there was a fire door wide open and no one watching it as the three staff was all talking at the stairs I when to tell a manager as I left my two boys one 4 and one 2 with my friend who's kid is 2 he then spoke about how it should not be open and whent to speak to the YOUNG staff who turned looked and clearly with an attitude said WHAT to him before caring on their conversation. Now the manager and young man that signed us in did nothing but what was expected it was after 1pm when the young staff turned up it when down hill. As I whent back to my friend and kids we noticed my eldest had gone we looked all over the trampoline sight the cafe and the party rooms. To then see him walking up the ramp past the young staff that he had passed before as there was no other way down with NO help from any of them. This would not have been an issue of the place was busy but there was our 3 kids us two adults amd a man who had just brought there child so no one was in.
I highly recommend that the Young staff two lads and two girls get some training and the manager gets some help backing him up as to be honest I was fuming when I left lack of care what so ever from the floor staff.
Not to take away the sight was amazing and food was grate but the staff really let it down when it cost over £70 for us today. I am really thinking of not returning and going to the rotherham bouncey castle sight as the staff there do...
Read moreThe food was okay and some of the activities were good.
The safety briefing was very boring which made the rules seem lame. It has no images in the brief. The brief was fast and made the information difficult to absorb. At other parks , they have child friendly animation videos and then the instructor explains that you cannot run around and have two on a trampoline at all.
I took my daughter and son and we were constantly watching teenage boys run around . They charged in front of us many times as they played they're wide games and the instructors never whistled or told them off.
As an adult I felt uncomfortable because it is not my place to tell them off and because they were invading our space regularly throughout the hour session.
The park has many blind spots such as near the half pipe and we were we were pushed infront of frequently.
I only saw two or three members of staff keeping an eye on the equipment and they were focussed on specific activities such as the Olympic trampolines. So they didn't look around at the other activities.
I also landed on a spring today which felt sharp and should have been covered by the matted edging. It was a spring on show and uncovered. I looked at the matting and it is very worn. It's on the assault course part.
I also don't understand why smaller people have to pay for the same price as taller people because half of the park in unsuitable for smaller younger children.
It was a expansive and overall , it is over priced and does not have a family feel good factor.
Sorry Jump Inc , it was awful today. I have tried to think of some good breed pointers but...
