Caffe Massarella — Restaurant in Sheffield

My Wife and I have a successful 5* catering business and we have much experience and knowledge in what is good and what is bad. We have chosen to eat at Massarella each week now for many years so we can truly say that the dependability of exceptional food and incredible staff sets this establishment above anything else in Meadowhall. The consistency of perfect food and staff courtesy is there every week. Whoever interviews and chooses the staff is very skilled as we know how easy it is to employ people but to find exceptional good people like these is very hard. The longevity of your staff says it all as so unusual in this industry. Timea and Ada, just lovely, so skilled and true ambassadors for Massarella, always make us feel special and it is that relationship with customer and these two amazing staff keep us coming back, they never stop working but always give us time, so professional, so nice. Young Laura has a constant lovely smile no matter what and that’s not easy trust me when dealing with some, we watch this. Darius, we often miss his shifts but he has charisma and charm and he looks after us very well. Thank you to all the cooks. First time trying this establishment, and wow it will not be the last. Both myself and partner orders food and a coffee, all ordered at the table and served in good time. Firstly the coffee, fantastic, I'm no connoisseur but I know and like a good coffee, this delivered in my flat white and wife's cappuccino. The food arrived hot, nicely plated and good amount. So how did it taste? Fantastic, I can not recommend the Italian Steak burger enough, the salad in the burger had a lovely crunch of freshness, the burger Pattie was juicy and delicious, add the cheese and fresh brioche superb. My wife's flat bread sandwich was also fresh and tasty.

All in all we will be going back, skip the hustle and bustle of the oasis with subpar food, treat yourself and enjoy the atmosphere, delicious food/drink with passionate service here instead.

Massarella’s is always welcoming and charming in its character and excellent staff. It’s a little oasis of calm amongst the shop-mania that is the frenzy of Meadowhall...!

Meeting my particular friend here is special to us as we don’t see each other as often as we’d like so Massarella’s helps us enjoy a special moment of chats and giggles over a cocktail or 2 every month or 2.

We are always made to feel special with care, kind attention and respect - it’s rare to receive in restaurants especially at busy shopping centres - so it’s exceptional and wonderfully noticeable when we come here.

We really must make time for food at our next meet up - thank you lovely team esp Shona & colleagues. Our mimosas were bloody perfection!!!! Will be ordering more of these beauties next time we come too, if dreams were a cocktail they’d be these Mimosa’s.
