We visited in mid May which is a good time to go to the garden. Many interesting plants - well cared for - with labels and plaques linking the plants to the explorers who brought them here. A plan is available as a guide to the gatden. There are many seats if you need a rest. Portaloos available. There are some steepish slopes which have steps. Far exceeded our expectations, the garden is stunning, much larger than we imagined and so many beautiful points of interest. Garden Manager Caroline is so friendly and knowledgeable and a one woman wonderwoman working so hard to restore and breathe new life into the gardens. A must visit if you are in Pitlochry!
