My buddy and I did a whiskey tasting at Robertsons of Pitlochry. John was absolutely amazing! We really wish we would have brought our wives. We tasted 5 Single Malt Scotch Whiskeys and learned so much about how Scotland creates it, what region it's from, and how to properly taste it. John was extremely professional and funny. I highly recommend this experience if you are in Scotland! I have done more than 10 tastings and this was by far the best!

What a fun place to stop in Pitlochry and if you are lucky ask for Monique. Her cheery and helpful disposition made me sad I was the designated driver :( Her knowledge of whisky is refreshing and welcomed. On my next visit to Scotland we will be staying in Pitlochry and tasting at Robertson's. If you have a whisky interest before you hit the Speyside trail, pop in here.

Somewhere we visit repeatedly. Robertsons is well known to Whisky collectors and has a decades long reputation for stocking excellent whisky. For others it will be a surprising hidden gem. If your in Pitlochry you should visit Robertsons whether it's for a can of coke or a rare bottle of something stronger. My first bottle was a 2001 Signatory, what will yours be?

Don't ship it's super expensive with custom fees and they don't tell you about it.

Hi, I can't answer to your question so I edit my review : We went to your store while visiting Scotland end of june 2024 I talked with one of the guy who was really friendly and gave us informations about whiskeys We decided to buy a bottle of "Lindores Abbey Aqua Vitae" then I asked about shipping to France. You (Ewan) said it was possible and fees were only the shipping fees (about 20€ at the time) so we decided to ship it to our address The problem is you did not tell us about the customs fees that were 160€ !! Maybe you did not know at the time but that is not the problem I called you and you told me "no problem they will send the bottle back to us and we will refund", the problem is after several mails, several calls and almost one year later, there is still no refund and now you don't...

Saturday 12th October, I enjoyed a whiskey tasting at Robertsons of Pitlochry. It was led by John G who was excellent. The tasting room was great with a warm fire burning and a great atmosphere created. I had done several distillery tours over the years, however, John’s history or whiskey and the delivery was best I have experienced. Each tasting uses different single malts so you can go back again and enjoy different malts. There was a lady with her husband who was not a lover of Single malts, but as John took us through the process of tasting and the impacts of water being added, this lady enjoyed the whiskey. I even enjoyed peaty single malt and before this I would have passed it to someone else to drink. Whole heartedly...

Visited 26 March to have a look around this wonderfull well stocked shop. I have been in this shop many times when my late father use to purchase bottles of whiskey from the previous owner. My friend bought a bottle of malt whiskey from a very helpfull young lady assistant. I asked about all the bottles behind the counter as I thought that they looked like older bottles. She confirmed that they were and some were being sold on behalf of clients. As I have a large collection belonging to my late father she offered me the companies email address should I consider selling in the future. Such a helpfull and pleasant young lady. A great shop at comparable...
