The Garden CafĂ©, Pitlochry – 4.5 stars We visited The Garden CafĂ© for breakfast on our final morning in Pitlochry, as a change from our hotel breakfast—and it was a lovely way to end our trip. We’d been staying in the town since Saturday and wanted to try something different before heading home.

We arrived just as it opened at 9am and were greeted and served quickly, with friendly and efficient table service.

We both ordered the eggs Benedict with black pudding. My partner’s eggs were perfectly cooked with runny yolks; one of mine was also spot on, while the other was more set, but still enjoyable. The flavours were great and the presentation was lovely. My partner had a cappuccino, and I had a latte—mine wasn’t very hot, but I didn’t mention it at the time.

We sat outside in the sunshine, which made for a really relaxed and pleasant breakfast. The garden seating area is lovely, with background music and a welcoming atmosphere. We didn’t see the interior as we stayed outside, but the outdoor space alone is worth a visit.

Overall, a great little café with good food, friendly service, and a relaxed vibe. Would...

Found this little gem of a cafe courtesy of good 'ol AI with three different establishments recommended being between our first stop-over at Stirling and the next, north of Inverness. Recognising that there must be one or two fine establishments on the route, to be recognised by 'The Great AI' must mean it's worth a punt in its own right.... Right?

Yup.

Definitely worth a stop over The hearty breakfast was abs-so-lutey amazeballs. Quantity and quality in equal measure and some spare sausage provided to the pet pooch Margot... The staff are friendly, attentive, food amazing and fairly priced. All in all a great discovery and one I'd...

Wonderful café to sit in and have lunch in. It had a great aesthetic, between the plant life outside and the environment inside to make it feel very homely and comfortable. There's a seating area at the front of shop with the till, and then an extra seating area at the back which gives this place a good amount of seating. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help, and the food was lovely! The special soup that was on the day we went in was the parsley soup, and it was fantastic, felt like an authentic homemade soup. Would highly recommend for lunch if you are ever...

What an amazing wee cafe! Wanted somewhere pet friendly for breakfast and saw some amazing reviews online. Was not disappointed!! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious, hot and beautifully presented. I had the eggs royale and my husband picked his own breakfast. We went back today and I had the scrambled eggs with bacon and he had eggs Benedict - delicious! We even got a couple of sausages for the puppy! Great food, gorgeous decor and amazing atmosphere.
