I really wanted to rate this place highly as it is local to me, but unfortunately after paying £9.50 for a large breakfast that I ended up leaving most of, I'm not impressed at all.
Everything was going well, no wait for a table, quiet atmosphere, staff were polite and quick to serve. But when the food arrives, the first alarm bell went off. The state of the food and portion sizes were diabolical for the price they are charging, the eggs were overcooked and dry, the hash browns were either cooked in old oil or a dirty oven judging by the taste, and the tiniest pots designed for dipping sauces are what they serve your portion of beans and tomatoes in, and what looked like a tablespoon fried mushrooms on the side, also the fried slice was absolutely drenched in oil making it inedible and it wasn't even a full fried slice either it was half a slice cut into triangles like you do for toddlers.
For £9.50 they need to be doing alot better than this and it shocks me that soo many people I know rate this gaff soo highly. Not to mention that charging patrons £1.20 for multi-pack cans of Coke is not only a scumbag move it's also against the law. First and last visit for me, avoid!
Regardless whether I turned down the hot drink and bottle of water that was offered with the breakfast, it is still against the Law to sell Multi-pack cans individually and you have been reported to the proper authority for doing so. Also, of course you wouldn't see £9:50 as being a big spend as a business owner, you have countless people coming to your business daily, which has turned out to be quite lucrative for you charging the prices that you do for the portion sizes that you give. You could have been a decent business and charged reasonable rates but you saw your post code and thought, this lot have more money than sense. Between you and that K&K butchers by the tesco yous are pricing out the average joe. Like you do realise the country is in the middle of a cost of living crisis right and you're out here mugging off your patrons by selling them multi-pack cans for £1.20? That is outright against trade laws, the only way it wouldn't be illegal is if you price them correctly at around 62p, trust me I've looked into this, but you scumbags are charging £1.20. Just know I have taken my complaint to trading standards with photographic evidence of your pricing and the product in question. So you can expect to hear from them in the coming months. Don't be bitter, be better to your customers, after all they do pay your...
