Really impressed with the cafe in here. Needed a place to shelter from the rain, the kids to eat their picnic lunch and us to have a cuppa and a bit of cake. Having struggled to find somewhere welcoming, we thought the church might be kind. They were. They allowed the girls to eat their food while we consumed tea and cake. Perfect brew, my husband had one, it was so good I then got one too. The cake was homemade and delicious. The ladies were so friendly and welcoming and we were so grateful that they let the girls eat the food they wanted to without making a fuss. Read more6 Aug'21. Very friendly Vicar had been giving a small service, moments before. Came up 4 a chat & told us about various points of interest in this beautiful Church. He kindly offered us some Birthday Cake, as this day was his Birthday & he had a little celebration with his Parishioners. Such a kindly gesture. Thank u.
