Booked this for our son’s 6th birthday, it’s a great family activity. It’s easy to find and has free parking! The ski centre has an Austrian lodge vibe which I thought was really cool. As you enter main entrance you get signed in and have your wristbands issued, staff then walk you to the so slope and give a Safety briefing, then you grab a tube and away you go for 45 minutes, I can’t fault it , we had a great time, the kids couldn’t stop laughing. Once the time was up we made our way to the cafe which is at the main entrance, had a sandwich and a coffee which was also very nice. Site is clean, safe and well maintained. We will return again. It’s not just tubing, you can also have skiing lessons. Location is good as it’s right by festival park where you’ll find an abundance of shops / food

My son is learning to ski here. This place is setup very well, lots of instructors and leadership within the business. If you are considering learning to ski this is the place to go. My son loves it. Been going at the weekend to build up his skills. They also do half term camps which my son absolutely loves. Great way to build up core skills to get you out on the slopes. We are going to the Alps next year and will be coming here most weeks to help bring my son's skills up. Loads of different age groups and skill levels so don't think you will be the only person. Thankyou Stoke Ski for helping my son. Still a great place for anyone looking to learn to ski. They are super friendly, always around to help, lots of staff on hand too. My son really likes coming here.

Visited for my sons friends tubing birthday party. The place was very busy on a Saturday but party seemed well organised. The slopes were a little faster than usual due to rainfall but workers quickly added extra mats to prevent injury. With it being a younger kids party (7/8 year olds) I would maybe have expected a dedicated worked to hang around in case of any issues etc but this is maybe me just being over cautious. Food afterwards with the party package seemed good, no complaints from my son. Free parking which is always a bonus. Will visit again

Owner somehow had my original review removed. Which leads me to believe that the rating for this ski centre is inaccurate. However here is a repost of my review.

I haven't been back to this ski centre due to the owner making myself and my partner feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

The following is a review of my experiences at the times I visited:

Myself and my partner purchased a block booking so that I could teach my partner how to ski. We were coming to the ski centre every weekend, my partner would practice her skiing and I would use the freestyle equipment. It intially became very frustrating with how this ski centre tried to get as many people on to the slopes as possible. Thinking primarly about money and not safty. Additionally it was mostly children being packed onto the slopes, making it even more hazardous. I made a complaint to the owner at the time about this, and his response was to ban us from using the freestyle equipment, rather than help us use the facility we paid for. The owner was extremely passive-aggressive, rude, and "kept telling us we don't have to come, we can go elsewhere". So we ended up getting a refund for the remaining sessions and going to another local ski centre.

My previously removed review has a very disturbing response from the owner after he stalked me on social media. I have a copy of his response if anyone would...

We booked the party pack for our son’s birthday. It was great fun. Due to a problem on the motorway many of the guests were late, the staff took it all in their stride and allowed us to delay the party start time and subsequent party food. We had full use of the slope and had a brilliant time, all the kids absolutely loved it, age ranged from ages 2-11.

The dining area for the kids is nice and has a separate entrance from the main cafe, it has banners and happy birthday bunting up so it’s nice. We too party tablecloths for the tables, which I’m glad I did so made it a bit more festive. Food was fine, freshly cooked & hot, although only comment is that there’s was not quite enough for each child to have a bit of everything.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. I can’t recommend this place enough, well worth a visit! Thanks...

We had such fun tubing, we did the smaller slope as we had young children with us, they had such an amazing time, lots of laughter and excited screams. £7 per person for the fun tubing (as at 26.09.21) for 45 mins. There is the adrenaline tubing as well which is £12 per person on the bigger slope, that is for older children and adults, at present, it is for aged 9 and over. It is essential to pre-book this activity as covid restrictions only allow so many to use the facilities at one time. It is also possible to book parties here, we have been for both a normal session and a party. We cannot fault it at all. There is a large carpark, a cafe and toilets on site. On the other slopes there was skiing lessons as well as practice sessions. I highly recommend this place and we cannot wait for.our next...
